I have a collection of drum sticks that I want to make a "frame" for. I want to to make a circular shape with sticks pointing outward, problem is I don't know how to make the sticks stay in place without anything visibily doing so. Any ideas? Pic not related

Drill a small hole in to the bottom of each stick. Place the stick vertical on a flat piece of wood. Use a screw to go from the bottom of the wood, through the flat surface, and in to the bottom of the drum stick.

That could work, thanks

Drill bit the size of each stick, drill in enough so that each stick fits snug. You'll probably only need 3 bits at most. Use epoxy in the hole to hold them in place.

get a four inch thick round of a soft wood. drill concentric holes in the round, at a slight angle so that the drumsticks fit in and angle outwards.
