I recently casted this mask out of resin, and it started cracking around where the fins meet with the top of the head. Is there a way I can patch this up seamlessly without needing to go through the process of casting another one? I'll post a close up of the crack in a second.
Thanks in advance.
It's kind of hard to see on camera, but it looks like a whole layer of the plastic is peeling off for some reason...
You might try patching it up with some Bondo. I've had a lot of luck with it on various materials. It can be a little pricey, but you do get a lot for your money.

Holy fuck look at that post number. OP, looks like bondo is your go-to.

I dunno what about fastglass that might do it.
I ended up using some steelstik. It seems to have worked out alright so far. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Don't use bondo.
Mix superglue and bakingsoda into a paste, fill the cracks then sand. it's an old prop-maker trick for resin patching

Shouldn't that be 'witnessed'?
