Stringing a guitar (its a pita)

Stringing a guitar is easy as fuck
>>
>>1002379
This is a right handed guitar with a reverse headstock. Those are hipsot open back locking tuners that are staggered. The top two don't have enough space to fit the string through the hole. Is this done correctly?
>>
>>1002380
I understand how to string it. The issue is that I can't fit the strings in. They are .10 to .60. That 6th peg won't fit a .46.
>>
>>1002385
No one knows? Just that one guy saying it's easy?
>>
>>1002379
>two strings missing
pleb
>>
>>1002396
They won't fit.
>>
>>1002398
buy new tuning pegs, unless you wanna, you know, do it yourself
>>
>>1002401
I just bought the pegs. I don't understand what you mean by doing it myself, you didn't finish that thought.
>>
>>1002398
you are supposed to do one at a time
there is no reason for two to be missing unless you took them all off

just drill them out or something i guess. buy thinner strings.

Do you know how tall these should be?
>>
Did they not have a rating for maximum string size for extended range guitars? Surely you can file away the the inside and it won't matter? It is just a pin pushing against he end of the tuner to hold the string down? Never owned locking tuners, got a locking top nut on mine.
>>
>>1002412
They shouldnt be that shallow
Is the tuner flush against the back of the headstock?
Take a picture
>>
Holy shit, this is hilarious. Are you sure you don't have the locks tightened on the back of the pegs.?
>>
>>1002510
Its this or he bought some non standard tuners that arent the right size.
>>
>>1002379
well idk OP, but i usually start by stringing the fattest strings first.
>>
Maybe they're installed in the wrong order.

you didn't install them properly then, and should have disclosed this earlier
>>
>>1002379
the tuning pegs are installed in the wrong order. swap the 1st string (right most) for the 6th string (left most) and so on for the rest. also the strings themselves appear be strung with improper technique but you can google that no prob.
>>
>>1002385
are you tuning way down? 60 is pretty fuck huge for the low E
>>
>>1003013
Not OP but how come none of you noticed that this is a 7 string squire?

Had he a standard 6 string the reverse ordering would've been a non-issue but in this case it is.
Also, low B strings are anywhere from 56w to 74w.
>>
It's a pita alright. A pita shit
>>
>>1002683
Underrated comment.
>>
>>1003013

I run a .62 for a low B on my 7 stringer.

Before I got the 7 stinger i used to run a 6 stringer with a .62 anyway and it fit. Kinda tight but it fit.

>>1003045
Most peoples heads don't immediately jump to faggot tunings.
>>
>>1003249
>implying 7 strings aren't badass

How else you gonna play Korn tabs?
