I have so many battery powered lights that I'm ruining my wallet every time I have to get new ones.
So I came up with an idea to connect all the lights to the power outlet. Where should I start and how hard is it gonna be? I'm not so gifted on this subject.
(most of the lights require 3xAA batteries)

Basically the big box looking faggot on the top is attached with a hinge to the base, and to the top cigarette holding nigger. Each of the cigarette holding niggers is attached to each other via those metal-rod looking kikes, so the top faggot only need to be attached to one of the niggers.

So I've been tossing around an idea in my head after seeing this guy. He got a nose bridge piercing, put magnetic holders for frameless lenses on there. I want to do this, but without getting a piercing or magnetic implants. If I put a little neodymium magnet on each side of the nose, would the attraction be strong enough to hold the glasses on through the bridge of a nose? Never really toyed around with them but I hear word they're really stronk.

I would work on not being a faggot.

Get your priorities straight, and everything else falls into place.

I'm not thinking from a "look cool" POV, which is why I think using body modding to do it is stupid. Earpieces are an uncomfortable pain in the ass and they break all the fucking time. Just looking to avoid that.
>>
It might work, but if the magnets were strong enough they could cause damage to the nose bridge. I would look into finding something to modify the nose piece so it would hold onto the bridge of the nose rather than trying to use magnets.

How can I objectively determine the color code so that I can paint my walls to pretend I'm in the John Wick hotel?

I've secretly stolen every paint swatch Home Depot has and held it to my monitor and can't find it.

Somehow get in contact with the set designer and ask does he have that sort of information logged somewhere? Whatever you are seeing on the movie screen is almost certainly going to be different than what it was like in real life.
Ignore the hassle and go with whatever looks the closest.
>>
>>995563
Print off a color picture and have a paint store custom mix to match.
>>
trying to match a backlit led screen color to real-life value is fantastically complex and inexact - you can get the rgb value of each color from a(ny) picture easy enough, but paint irl always gonna look different, you can't literally live in a film.

If you got the swatches borrowed from HD already, or can obtain a pantone swatchbook somehwere, go to:
>color.adobe.com
- upload that picture, you can pick out the main color areas you need, then try matching swatches to the solid area color swatches produced from selection there,...

>It is possible to improve the power of my bike to not get tired when I'm riding?
Ride often and commit to a high protein diet, this is more of a /fit/ problem.
You can't make the bike to be more "powerful", unless you use motors, you can switch to a lower gear but the muscle power it is the same for the same distance. Maybe add a third wheel to reduce the effort to maintain the bike stable.

Trying to improve a bike is like trying to improve a spoon, you can change the design, but you're left with the same thing.

Anyone have any machining/steel/factory/assembly line experience?

I found an entire dumpster of these and don't know what they are. Seem to be at least 5lbs and around 8 inches long each, and smell and feel like solid steel.

If anyone has information on these it would be much appreciated, I'm curious but don't know what to search online.

So I'm doing some ghetto carbon layup and I need a way to get a vacuum going on the bag that holds all the resin and parts in the mold. (Creates an optimal carbon to resin ratio and reduces waste)

With that being said.. I'm not looking to drop a few hundred on a dedicated vacuum puller like picture related. I've seen a few other methods, like a venturi system hooked up to an air compressor, but I'd also have to buy an air compressor from harbor freight or the likes. (Which means, more money spent)

So any suggestions?

I have a simple vacuum pump intended for HVAC applications. Was like $60 off eBay. Works great for resin/silicone casting.

Appears to be essentially identical to mine.

Hi /diy/ I just bought by first router and got this popular Bosch 1617EVSPK model from a seller on ebay that was selling it $40.00 cheaper than Amazon. The item was described as brand new but I had my doubts as soon as I opened it.

I put a bit in it and tightened the collet chuck, just to get a feel of how this thing works... Now when I unscrewed the chuck, the collet nut came off but the collet itself, and the bit are stuck in the router.

The instructions say its a self-extracting collet chuck and NOT necessary to strike the collet chuck to free the bit... Any...

>>

The "self extracting collet" is marketing speak, and you will still get shit caught from time to time.
Just hit it with a piece of wood, its not going to be stuck so hard you will damage the collet
>>

So just hit the top of the bit with a piece of wood? Swing straight down on it?

HVLP pros, got any tips for a noob?

First project out of the gate: Gotta put weather seal on the deck. I have on trusted advice that I should mix it with paint thinner and strain it before putting it in the pot.

Second project: spraying Minwax fast drying poly on a solid maple tabletop.

Any advice? I just got a pneumatic HVLP gun from Harbor Freight FYI.

So much this. When I got my first one I thought I would repaint an old metal toolbox that had super fucked up paint. First attempt looked like ass so I stripped it down and had another go. Still ass. Third attempt: ass. 6 times I had to strip that fucker down before I got it right.

Found this Cypress plank from the mid eighteen hundreds in the wash up line of our recent thousand year flood in the southeast. Other than the obvious and giving it a good coat of lacquer and leaving a little bit of patina, what would be some other ideas for this beautiful piece? Will check back after work on my lunch break now thanks in advance for any input.

How third world of a country do you have to live in to grab a big stick and throw it in your car and call it a project?

That being said, it is remarkably straight. Some nice stain on that and maybe a rod through it and a nice square mount might look pretty nice on a wall.mits a bit big to be vertical' but horizontal over a television might look good.

If you have televisions where you live.

Hello! Not sure if this would be better posted in /k/ so feel free to tell me to fuck off elsewhere. I've recently started a new job as a maintenance fitter/engineer at a big plant that produces pre-cast concrete products. I'm looking for a multitool I can keep in my coverall pocket for quick fixes whilst doing my rounds of the plant. Multitool based on a plier design would be preferable. What do you guys reccomend?
