Half my house, like right down middle is suddenly having power problems. The right side appliances and lights are barely on, and the electronics are turning on and then off. Other side of house is fine along with the overhead lights.

Second that. The electricity comes into your house on 2 hot wires. One neutral wire goes back to complete the circut. One of the hot wires are not delivering.

Are there any legal issues with getting a USB/PCI-e LTE adapter for my home router (pfSense box) and building a huge fucking antenna to turn it into a fixed-WISP style client device? I'm thinking of doing this since I have unlimited cell data and Comcast sucks goat vomit through a bendy straw. Picture somewhat related.
"Unlimited cell data" and unlimited cell data are often two very different things. Your connection's gonna get throttled to almost nothing pretty quick unless you have some arcane grandfathered-in plan.

I'm mostly nocturnal so even if I was tethering at line rate for six hours a day it wouldn't cause significant network congestion. I've telecommuted a ten hour shift via tethering before with no throttling. My plan does include unlimited data with no throttling.
How do I fix my glasses in a way that doesn't cost too much money and doesn't completely look like shit? When I was wiping my glasses off with a towel on of the pads that sits between my nose and the frame broke off, and now I constantly have a piece of my glasses poking into my nose. I can alleviate it by placing some paper between that part of my nose and the tiny sharp bit coming out, but I look like an asshole, so I normally just grin and bear it. It seems nigh impossible to remove, and I've spent a good several minutes with a sharp knife trying to remove...

i just got a pair of cheapo reading glasses, broke off the nose pads and jb weld them on. file it down so doesn't look odd.
Scavange pads off a cheapo set of reading or sunglasses and epoxy them on. Just be careful not to get the epoxy on the lenses.

You mean I should break them BOTH off, and then use this compound to bind them back to the glasses so that they're both attached and they both look the same?
How much electricity would you have to run through something the size of a nail to support/restrain the weight of a person?

It's a fucking shitload of current. Think about a 120V solenoid. As beefed up and torque-y as they get, you could still push it in with your hand. You want something that would mechanically latch into place.

Does it not receive power at all?
Does it power up but a specific part doesn't get power?
Does it all appear to function but output no audio signal?

Are dealing with toxins something you can do diy? I'm pretty sure I have something in my room because sometimes I smell weird shit and it's a really old as fuck house with little maintenance. I wake up with a stomach ache every day I have random pains and exhaustion. I have crazy as fuck dry mouth that sometimes makes my gums bleed I also notice symptoms show up more when I'm in the room
How do I know what the problem is? Should I just buy tests for everything

The wiki article for evacuation tip (the little wiggly bit on the ends of tubes) mentions something called a "glasshacker", which are apparently people who ...hack vacuum tubes? Is this a real thing? Because I've never heard of it before, and it doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere else on the internet.

It's sometimes done in nixies tubes.
You swap out the gas inside it and they change the colour of the glow, since most nixies ionize the gas around the filament to get the glow.
So you swap it out for lets say argon and you get a blueish white glow.
I've never seen anyone do it but it's possible.

Here's the deal: you put a disc inside your PSX, push power, the disc starts spinning and the laser reads the disc. The data it reads is transmitted through the ribbon cable.

I want to know what data is exactly transferred to the console from the disc reader unit so I can program a loader to an embedded system to do that for me.
The end game is to completely get rid of the disc reader unit and replace it with a rpi zero or similar that shoots the corresponding data through an identical ribbon cable to the system.
tldr I'm trying to trick the system to thinking there's a disc drive while in reality the data comes from an SD card.
