So this is an old oc I made back in 2013 that I almost forgot about.
Almost my first, I remember writing some cliche edgy shit for this guy.
His name is Ed.
One day he was bitten by werewolf which made him turn into werewolf man when the moon was full and couldn't control it.
He caused alot of havoc as werewolf, and wanted a cure.
He happened to have a friend who was practicing witchcraft and she told him she would cure him.
And so she did, sort of.
Ed can no longer become a warewolf man but still has some of the traits.
Ed later decided to be a werewolf hunter.
Ed's weapon of choice is the katana because he practice kendo as a kid and quite skilled now.
Other things about him, is that he likes to wear v neck shirts and skinny jeans and sometimes his moms wigs.
Is bisexual.
When the moon is full he gets a white streak in his hair.
There's alot other things I wrote and back then about him that were really stupid and I can't remember everything, but I remember writing him to be very "original the character"

This is a variation on an OC I've thought of for a while.
The MC is an exhibitionist, adrenaline junkie oligarch who decides to perform heists and robberies that amount to public stunts for fun. He cross dresses while he does this so his alter ego is a woman. Since he's already a billionaire he has no need to keep any of the incriminating stuff or money he steals so he often randomly gives them out to poor people which makes him a symbol and hero for the lower classes. He'll often target events and people which are in the news at the time to get maximum attention.
His 2nd cousin once removed is a fashion designer and she designs his costumes for him.The costume is based visually on a macaw of some kind. I prefer the blue and yellow ones but if anyone feels like picking it up and they prefer another one go for it. She usually includes some gadgets in the costume like those springy foot wear attachments in the high heels that activates when he clicks his heels together. Some are tailor made for specific heist. Its supposed to look like one of those carnival costumes but since the MC is actually a dude it would probably make sense to have the costume cover his groin and neck to hide his privates and Adam's apple.

You kind of get that sense from looking at her. The art style seems to lend itself to goofiness but the dark colors and her expression make her seem more sullen.

This is a new costume idea for a character I'd previously posted in one of these threads. I'm much happier with this design aside from the helmet. It doesn't have enough of a homemade feel despite this being one of her earlier costumes, when she was just working with stuff she had around the house. I know my art is horrible, but she's supposed to be stretching.
From the previous post:tl;dr she's a peppy, headstrong, illegal cape in middle school who does vigilante stuff.
In a world where 1 in every 19 people develops superpowers at some point in their life, Elizabeth O'Lauren just wants to be special. Unfortunately, her brother got his powers first, so even if she didn't go through the sterilization process necessary to be adopted, government policy intended to control the population of supers would still require it of her. And her dreams of being an Olympic runner will never happen because of her asthma. She can, however, still be a sidekick to her two childhood friends. On an excursion to prevent the theft of valuable chemicals, her overconfidence leads to her friend/crush's death and her developing the ability to emit electricity. If the government found out about her family's having two supers, she'd be taken from her parents, so she has to keep the powers a secret but is unwilling to not be a hero with them.
At first she's just got touch-taser powers but as the story progresses she'll discover she can do things like electrically stimulate her muscles to combat her asthma, accelerate her ability to heal, move faster, etc, learn from a rival to shoot electricity a limited distance, and get trained in self-defense since eventually the baddies will learn to prepare for her with clothes that don't conduct electricity and such.
Alright, here's just my main two characters. The working title is called Scientist Supreme. A world where your branch of science influences the way you fight. I'll elaborate more if someone's interested in the meat.
Alan's a biologist who modifies his DNA to do incredible things. Iris is mechanical inventor who builds weapons. Alan's the heart, a newbie who's really out of his element, and Iris is the edgy straight-woman, waiting for a chance to prove herself.

You see, a few centuries ago, a meteor shower occurred in______. There, it was discovered 7 brand new elements that had incredible effects on our own elements and each other. They could be made on earth, harvested from _______ in space, and recreated synthetically. These elements spur humanity into a technological jump known as the Second Renaissance.
But the science was very easily available and fell into the wrong hands. The military and cops couldn't handle the new threats with their current technology, so the government starts funding individual laboratories for creating weapons, researching the new 7 elements, and combating the new threats.
These threats range from rogue experiments, natural-ish disasters, and mad scientists with their horrific inventions.

She isn't that critical of the government's policies. She just wants to be a hero like the ones she idolizes, and "superheroes" are never supposed to do things that are against the law. Of course, a running theme is going to be the naivete of childhood getting crushed under the uncompromising heel of reality, and her entire motivation for fighting crime is just because she can do it and wants to, so it's not like she can avoid that hurdle forever. There's also a group of other illegal supers that are strongly anti-government (the more extreme side of the view that super laws need to be reformed since things like siblings who got their powers at the same time aren't handled fairly) who she's going to bump shoulders with that tries to recruit her, but they're basically terrorists.

Well, what I do is I look up a branch of science and start trying to piece together a unique way of turning a subject of study into a weapon.
For biologist, their main thing is body modification or creature creation. Making themselves stronger, faster, smarter, and biological weapons, like bone blades. Or creating a creature that does all that for them.
Mechanics make high tech weapons, like plasma guns or disruptors.
There are also psychologists, who due to a special brain wave, are psychic and have telekinetic powers.

The character I'm requesting is for the Guild of /co/lamitous Intent threads. DC and Marvel comics both have their Mercenaries with the Wilson last name. The character that I have created/parodied is named Cade Wilson AKA Die-Cry. He is obviously a Mercenary but has a beer gut/dad bod to him. His main color scheme is Green and Purple. He wears a mask that covers his full face. His main weapon choice is a spear and his off hand weilds a revolver. When designing this character keep in mind the Venture Bros idea of failure. This guy is a merc but he really sucks at it.

One of the other characters is another young high end fashion designer except she's not from a privileged background and her business is a front. She's actually a thief and she uses her business to launder her money and make connections and rub shoulders with wealthier people to better target them. Unlike the MC she's actually a stealthy sort of thief
She designs her own costumes and adds things like knives hidden in her 6 inch heels or special gloves that let her break into fingerprint scanners. Her aesthetic theme is based on the anaconda so she wears all snakeskin outfits with dark green and black colors and is well versed in grappling and submission techniques. She's a mulatto woman.
She has that Fujiko/Catwoman relationship with the MC. Sometimes they work together where she'll end up with the actual loot while the MC ends up with the credit and sometimes she intentionally sabotages his plans. She has disdain for the MC because he's a sexually aggressive playboy who has no respect for women but since he's the type who can't take no for an answer he's obsessed with her which is something she used to her advantage.Now this is character actually the sort of thing I'm into

I based her off an old roommate of mine that used to scam people on deviantart by selling commissions but never actually delivering a product. Most of the story was going to be about their interactions with different adventurers that come to the town they live in. Nex has one adventurer that gets her various items from dungeons and one story was going to be him convincing her to go with him to a dungeon he's already cleared out so she can appraise the stuff he found without him having to drag it all back to her shop. There's a mishap with a teleport spell and they end up at a different dungeon and have to make their way through it.
I also thought about adding a couple side stories based off of some of the D&D campaigns I've been in and maybe even base some of the adventurers in town after them. I could put up a pastbin with all the current info I have if you're interested.

Yeah I'll post some stuff that I've already got here. So first Nex:
>Basic Info: Runs Silver Thorn General Store in North River. Tends to stock a little bit of everything (weapons, armor, potions, crafting ingredients) Barters with customers from time to time to get new stock but her main supply comes from one specific adventurer(Eli).
>Personality: No-nonsense attitude, blunt and occasionally sarcastic. It takes a lot to get her to try new things and she's a little set in her own ways. Has little patience for stubborn people and has no problem giving them the same attitude given to her. Sometimes though, this does come back to bite her.
>Disinguishing features: Dark tanned skin, white or off white hair in a bob cut. Average height and build. Long ears, expressive. Blue eyes. Costume is a white blouse with puff sleeves at bottom and a high collar, grey vest, plaid skirt (? if plaid too difficult, make dark green), boots. Wears half-moon glasses but not for seeing. They've got a minor enchant on them that lets her identify magic items and appraise them.

(as Tanuki) Male (looks androgynous) hair dark, short and simple cut, bangs. Round eyebrows (dots) eye mask goes down cheeks and button nose. Ears still part of hair. Tail still bushy but also rounded. Short, almost child-like despite age. Costume tunic top, possibly long vest, wide legged shorts. Legs are digitigrade and feet are small. In both forms, he has a small mole on the right side of his mouth.
This is Spike. She was drawn too small. Also, looking to practice, so if anyone wants to have a shitty rendition of their OC, let me know. On a related note, any general suggestions about how to approach animal limbs? The front ones look really awkward and I don't know why.

Simple leather armor. Weapon of choice Short sword and light shield. Additional items are an Amulet of Protection, Ring of Luck (might not actually be lucky but Eli thinks so) and a Bag of Holding (bag is very old and as such, does not hold as much as it could but still holds more than a normal bag)

El Blanco Caliente AKA Dennis Dixon. A Caucasian in his mid 30s. He dresses as a Mexican wrestler, Luchador mask and all. He has the ability to create and control fire. His outfit is Red, Yellow, and White and consists of a wrestling singlet, knee and elbow pads, his signature luchador mask, taped up hands, wrestling boots, and a white and yellow cape. Biker moustache must be visible in the mouth opening on his mask.
Blind Justice AKA Mark Morgan. Mark was blinded in a skiing accident when he was 16 years old. Through a series of uplifting therapy sessions, Mark decided to give up on giving a shit. After his family abandoned him and his shit attitude, Mark trained in boxing and dedicated his life to justice. Little did he know that being blind without super powers means you're still fucking blind. Blind Justice is a mix of Daredevil, Captain America, and Blade. He wears a blind folded American flag over his eyes and swat body armor everywhere else. He also sports a duster coat. Weapons consist of twin batons.
The last hero I had was Mariachi Midknight. Essentially it's a musically themed Mexican Batman.
This character probably won't appear in my comic for a while.
Her name is Emeralda. She is military commander who led a small team to Earth, from an galactic empire that uses a energy infrastructure considered "magic" everywhere else.
Her mission is the curtail recruitment of none initiated young people into the system, typically considered a type of child soldiering. Often times these outside "magical girls" will be eventually be indoctrinated and sent into conflict across galaxy.
Emeralda is technically a bureaucrat, after her officer training she chosen to study logistic and auditing. She seen action during said Galactic civil war and has been participating in continual Reconstruction and mopping up operation for more than 50 years.
Preferred desk jobs, hobby is reading and archeology.
She is actually super strong.

It creates infinite arrows but at a cost; enchants user as well. It's a Fae enchantment and typically it will transform Hawk into a different race or require him to do certain tasks. Could be used to try and make him more humble.

I don't think it has to have one, I was just curious if there was one. If there characters and setting is interesting enough they can carry the idea far enough without some specific overarching plot. Like Adventure Time except with good characters. Doesn't mean you can't have some more major plot lines every once in a while but I don't think every series needs a Fire Nation to be beaten at the end.
As far as Nex goes, she doesn't strike me as super interesting but at the same time seems like a good character to flesh the cast out and maybe she resonates with other people better. I like the glasses though, cool idea.
What's her relationship with Eli like? All business or maybe a little friendly? Long time business partners?

I was planning on having Nex and Eli's relationship start off as business but eventually became a friendship. With Rho's personality, I was thinking of making her a little too trusting of others or very gullible. I reaized too when I was typing that out she didn't have any good flaws. I'll have to think a little more on that. With Eli I could make him overly cautious or maybe he's extremely superstitious and this can get on other people's nerves. Nex I'll have to work a little bit more with. Maybe if I write more with her, I'll get more of a personality.
I liked the idea of some little distinguishing feature that would stay with Sen-ko regardless of what form he took and the mole seemed like the best bet. I could always change it to something else like eye color (which wouldn't be apparent as the Kistune since "her" eyes are always closed)

That's a tricky flaw because it can easily turn into one of those Mary Sue flaws that just makes her more endearing and always gives her the moral high ground.

I like the superstitious idea because it matches well with the Ring of Luck. Having the costume signal something of the person's personality is a good tool of character design.

Don't change it on my account, I just have a personal strong distaste for moles but when you justify it like that it makes more sense. Maybe the mole could lead lead to some perceptive character finding out about the charade and that would be less likely with eye color since sharing that with someone is much more common.
Keep working on that name because I don't think Item Shop really gives me the sense of what this idea is and I think you could come up with a better name that does.

I was thinking of Nex and Eli becoming close friends. I was gonna have them bond a little bit after going to the dungeon together like I mentioned here (>>82487007) She's initially skeptical about going, Eli manages to convince her saying there's nothing to worry about since he already cleared the dungeon, teleport spell goes wrong, they end up in a different dungeon full of monsters, Eli has to protect Nex as she's not really an adventurer, she helps him out by noticing some things in the dungeon he's missed (like some clue to the boss's weakness or solving a trap) and by the end they become a little closer. I was thinking of introducing Hawk during this story as that could be a good way to show off his partnership with Eli. They occasionally work together because despite being a douche sometime, Hawk is a pretty good fighter and knows his stuff.

I like characters with big secrets like this because it always looms as a potential problem and can lead to shenanigans like this. I guess it could get old eventually but Sen-ko seems like an interesting enough character that it need not be relied on too much.

Haven't decided on her personality yet. Since she's an orphan of the Plague I'm thinking she's going to be a reserved sort. Doesn't show her emotions or let them control her actions, she's had to deal with a lot of hardship very early on in her life so she was forced to mature at a very young age to take care of herself.

Here is a reject 1st page out of a concept comic (around 22 in total) pre ink and text I wrote a few years ago. I liked it and kept t around.
It's light sci-fi/cyberpunkish story set in a time where humans colonies parts of Mars. And the whole idea of the comic was to follow stories of different people from different social circles and tell their short story that somehow lightly ties in to a main story arc thats much bigger than them. With no clear main protagonist but rather small contributions of other smaller characters to a larger story.
The comic was rejected by local publishers as "not what they are currently looking for" But after the whole science in pop culture thing in recent years interests have spiked and i have gotten emails to re work the story to be more Liberal and SJW. And i don't want to do that. So I might self publish in august once I get done with all the paperwork.
The artist has since moved to more digital art but I really like the homebrew feel of the old stuff.
And if i don' get enough money for prints might publish it as a webcomic

There is a really nice book on drawing robot characters i like: 50 Robots to Draw and Paint by Keith Thompson. You might find it a fun read. And it might inspire you to put this guy in a setting.
Maybe an nearly ruined factory making robot parts for other older robots.

I hadn't thought that, I was thinking along the lines of she needed to pass as a cabin boy for the first part of the story so curvier didn't seem right. But I left that out of the description because it was like a little origin story that didn't tell who the character was now and I just tried to summarize the major points. But she lost her leg and eye in an accident at sea when she was pretending to be a cabin boy. The accident is the first time she inadvertently runs into a sea creature.
But thickening her up some might be a good look for later on, it never occurred to me.

It's pre Revolutionary War bysomething like 10-20 years. Her father is a British Naval Officer posted in the Americas. She was born in the Americas. Has an interest in sailing because of her father.
