Is it bad that I'm kinda looking forward to this?
I mean unlike most of the other Pixar sequels, the original had a vast world and setting that can easily be expanded.
>being afraid of his own opinion
I guess now I'm really getting reddit-meme from TV.

No, but it's over a decade since the first one so I'm not sure who they're going to target with it.
what, this is literally the most anticipated sequel from Pixar that everybody waiting for

why would looking forward to it be bad?

I think you're thinking of Bug's Life 2.

We should have gotten a direct sequel to Monsters Inc. though, seeing there was stuff that still needed to be explained like Sulley meeting Boo again.

People who grew up with the original as well as the children of today.
Toy Story 3, Monsters University and Finding Dory have been a decade apart from their originals and those did fine. I'm sure this movie will too.

But anon if his opinion doesn't align exactly with others how will he ever fit in in this hostile environment?I reckon it's a grill tho desu, the writing style just seems a bit feminine to me

Why would you envelope yourself from your own opinions only to the extent of anonymous people in a Peruvian pottery making website with a film that's still gonna come out in 2019?
Judging by Finding Dory and Monsters University, it will be a forgettable film that has a story that doesn't need to be told. You'll feel nice about seeing the characters again but that's the best thing about it

No, I'm pretty sure the guy who wrote the first one said he wouldn't write the sequel until he had a really good idea. I believe it since it's coming out over a decade after the first one.

Pretty much.
