After aquiring the Mobius Chair during the Darkseid War arc, Batman learned that there are three different Jokers. While I view this is a divisive topic, I do wish to explore the topic more in depth.
Currently, my understanding is that the three different Jokers are-
1. Golden Age (Romero) - Joker
2. Pre New 52 (Alan Moore - Killing Joke) - Joker
3. New 52 (Scott Snyder) - Joker
What I would like to know is what are the distinctive personality differences between the Jokers? Which stories belong to which Jokers?

This version of the Joker is specifically built for the world that Azzarello constructed. Sarcastic, dangerous, sadistic, and with a pitch black sense of humor, this Joker is probably one of the more unpredictable iterations. This version required a tougher/meaner Batman and that's exactly what Azzarello provides in his Universe. I would argue that this version was probably a source of influence for the Ledger and Leto versions.

What started in Batman the Animated Series, expanded to Superman Animated Series, Justice League, and eventually in Batman Beyond where he met his eventual end. Always joking/quipping, always dangerous, and always planning. This version was probably the most dangerous of them all as he continuosly "punched outside his weightclass" by taking on other super powered combatants. Also he was the first to get his honeybunny with Harley so that's something.

I really liked this book, it's Joker, it's focus on a weak man and thug, it's killer croc (who seems to be basically one one in Suicide Squad...
And oddly enough, it's Batman. Sure, he was only in the book for a few pages, but that only makes him feel more like a hidden menace to the villain antagonists.
I also loved his asshole personality, how he didn't really give too much of a shit about the thug, and costume design and keeping him shadowed.
Is Azz-verse any wider than this single Joker book? I would like to see more in this setting. That said, it's not a setting that would fit a Robin.

Has nobody pointed out to Johns that this idea shits all over Morrison's "The Clown at Midnight"? Really, even way back in Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth, he established the idea that Joker goes through different personalities.
The worst part is, Morrison ALSO had a better take on the notion of Joker-as-intanginble-entity-with-multiple-hosts. In DC One Million when Batman failed to save the Joker, as a result, his madness spread like a disease, a Joker Virus.
Compared to that, just saying "Okay there are multiple Jokers, but we're gonna give a fix, finite number of them so that it's not actually that frightening, also they correspond to specific eras of our publishing history which're actually like 5 months long in-universe." is incredibly obvious, lazy and short-sighted.
