Has anyone else noticed the production value for background layouts has gone up while animation quality has gone down? Is there a reason for this?
Character animators are taught to direct rather than how to properly animate and the market is over saturated with Digital landscape painters(in the vein of concept art)

If animating in Photoshop were as easy as painting is, It would've been industry standard too.
But animators had to settle for Flash and Adobe essentially ignores them.

You don't need Adobe. There's already software suites made for pro animation production like RETAS.

Adobe is cheaper and everybody in the industry knows how to use their stuff. It's a no-brainer.
