who's the best Gotham villian to be working for?
>>
Probably Freeze and Riddler. Penguin and Black Mask are OK unless you screw up.
>>
>>84531049

poison ivy so i can suck dem feet
>>
>>84531049
Catwoman. No casually killed subordinates yet.
>>
>>84531103

Black Mask is pretty Bro-tier if you are a competent henchman.
>>
Amanda Waller. It comes with medical and a pension.
>>
>>84531184
Except she's not based in Gotham, and Villain is arguable.
>>
Calendar Man.

So many vacation days.
>>
Riddler. All you have to do is set up his stupid puzzles.
>>
The Penguin is sane, rational, and enterprising.

I'm definitely attracted to Ivy, but I know better than to presume I'd have any "privileges" with her, particularly as a male.
>>
Would Riddler kill you if you set up his riddle wrong or would you actually get away with the crime?
>>
>>84531352
Sane, but ruthless. Rational, but cold-blooded. Enterprising, but once you work for him he owns you outright.
Unless you know for absolute certain that you'll never become a liability to him in any possible way... he probably pays the best.
>>
>>84531049
Of all these villains, who has been in the least amount of stuff?
I imagine it's Prometheus because Scarface has shown up in cartoons
>>
>>84531405
I don't find his methods or his terms unfair, and I don't betray reliable people.
>>
>>84531409

Maxi Zeus and Great White Shark I think.
>>
>>84531049
Penguin I think, I would see me being a bartender in one of his casinos
>>
>>84531471
I was going to question you before I remembered Great White Shark and King Shark are not the same character, somehow.

They have no reason to be separate.

>Self determination
>Purpose
>A boss that genuinely cares about you
>Probably covers health and dental
>Someone that actually managed to beat the Batgod
>Will probably be chill with you if you give a good reason to leave

In all seriousness why does anyone work for the Joker?
>>
>>84531591
I just realized how fucking wild it must have been for people who watch Batman movies but don't touch any other Batman media when Poison Ivy's goofy henchman from Batman and Robin was reimagined as the villain of TDKR.
>>
>>84531621
They probably didn't know it was the same person/brushed it off
>>
>>84531621
You what Anon, you're completely right.

I think one of the things that comics have ruined for me is the films, since I already have character expectations and any plot holes can be filled in by the vast amount of garbage in my head.
>>
>>84531616
>if I declined he will kill me
>I would look like a pussy if other thugs saw me backdowned against the joker
probably along these lines

Floronic Man. Ignoring the DUDE WEED LMAO part, the guy was a hippie. He wasn't the type to harm anyone working on his side, even his criminal activities were completely non-violent.

It's that he trusted Poison Ivy and wanted her blood/DNA to create a baby (not even through sex, dude was a fucking saint), and she had a girlboner for Batman so she betrayed his ass.
>>
>>84531616
Terrible picture on many levels.
>>
>>84531049
I've heard working for Mr. Freeze is pretty chill.

Ah, hell. It's really late, so late that it's early, so I'll take this opportunity to confess that my sincere and greatest dream is to become a supervillain. It's the only passion I've ever had in my life, as far as "careers" go. The problem, of course, is that I don't live in a world where costumed villainy is an accepted part of society, like in The Venture Brothers.

It's not like I've ever wanted to hurt anyone. I don't aspire to be as goofy as some of the Batman villains from the Adam West show, but I wouldn't really be any worse than they are. I just want the glamour, the glory, the gloating...I want to take the world by storm and keep it on its toes. I want a lair and gadgets and henchmen. Henchmen I would treat very well and with the utmost respect, mind you. And having a worthy nemesis to play games of cat and mouse with forever, now that would be just fine. Of course, we'd never really hurt each other. I ultimately just want to play around, but it has to look like I'm a real menace.

The closest I can come to my dream is to become an actor and play villains, but I want to play my own villain, act on my terms, actually make a name for myself out there.

I both envy and pity people who can feel this way about mundane jobs.

Bane.

You get a gun and he seems like the kind of guy who would be aching to get in to a fight to defend his boys.

>guy who kills his henchmen during workout
B-but muh noble father of lesbian.
>>
>>84531494

Great White Shark thought the same about the Terrible Trio's Shark when they met.
>>
>>84531372
no he doesnt generally kill his henches. i think he figures he doesnt have the rep to get away with it.
>>
>>84531591
Bane is probably a GREAT boss, but you need to be competent, bane has always been shown a child like sense of loyalty with the people that works with him, from villians to batman himself
>>
>>84531616

Drug addicts, the chance to get rich really quick (since he doesnt really care about money), a EXTREMELY high street respect, insane people and people that worships him
>>

He was gonna destroy the whole world and all humans until swamp thing stopped him.
He's like ivy on a global scale, fuck that.
>>
Penguin. You work for him in the Iceberg Lounge; he is a bit creepy, but you don't have to wear a stupid ass outfit, and you just provide muscle in a really comfy club, that is , relatively safe compared to the streets.
>>
>>84531167
Does catwoman even have any subordinates (that aren't her pet cats)?
>>
>>84536700
I always think of Catwoman and Freeze as solo operators. Sometimes Freeze is portrayed as having henchmen, especially after Batman and Robin, but he doesn't seem the type to hire goons or split earnings. He should be after equipment and chemicals, not cash.

Selina I couldn't see splitting the loot either. Maybe paying off a guard or worker to get inside, but not a full-fledged henchman.
>>
>>84536700
golden age did, even had a army of crooks dress up liek her once

Does Poison Ivy smoke weed?
>>
>>84539770
I don't imagine her burning plants, but I also think it's strange that she's a vegetarian as opposed to a carnivore.
