It hurts me to say this, but Bendis writes Angela decently. Except she's smiling at the end with the Thing. She should smile, like, once every four issues, and then it's either a tiny one or a Hulk-style "I'm going to kill you and your entire family" smile.
I guess it's not hard to write her. Just have her kill large numbers of people and not say much.

But Bendis never made him into the 80s memester like the movie. According to Bendis he was still on Earth at the time Eminem was popular. This was at the beginning of the 2000s which would surprisingly line up perfectly with his continuity. The ones who ran with the 80s shit were the other writers who only know him from the movies (Gillen, Hickman, Aaron...)
