I pulled a mobile Transformers game off my mobile phone that I believe has not seen the light of day in several years. It the G1 Awakening game, except not the 3D .apk version that is readily available. Instead, it's the 2D version developed for non-smart mobile devices.
Not sure how gun-ho you guys are about preserving obscure franchise media, but it's there if you want to look at it.

Good evening. This is the anon who uploaded the first episode of the four-episode Kingdom Hearts V-CAST game from my LG Chocolate last night. I ran into a wall with being unable to access episodes 2-4 on my phone, so I decided to just go ahead and rip the other game that was on my mobile (see pic related).
Now in 2008, there was a heavily advertised Transformers mobile game released by glu which was a tactical RPG set in the beginning of G1. This was one of the first 3D mobile games before smart phones were really a thing, and got decent reviews for what it was. If you really feel the need, there is a .apk floating around the net, and if you search youtube, you'll find a dozen or so videos of people playing through the game. This is not that game.
Instead, glu also released a 2D recreation of the game for mobile devices who couldn't handle Hot Rod's enormous girth. I'm not too experienced with the differences, but aside from missing cutscenes, the games seem to be 1:1 in gameplay and story. This game was developed using an alternative to Java ME, a now obsolete tool called BREW. Because of this, there are zero hints on how to pull any assets from this game or emulate it on PC.
Still, because why not, I've uploaded the game below. Also included is the link to episode 1 of KH V-CAST, since that thread only existed in the 2AM timeframe (if any anons have old phones lying around that contain episodes 2-4, PLEASE feel free to participate).

Cinema is escapism, especially summer explosion flicks. They aren't there to enjoy the stories, just enjoy the special effects and other visuals. In this way you have people who certainly shell out to see the movies and don't hate them, but probably won't have anything overly kind to say about the story.
Plus other countries viewers may tell different stories.

That's certainly helping, though China isn't exactly known for sharing the money. Always seemed more psychological to me, namely the studios can boast about big sales and attendance and parlay that into the benefit they don't really see in any payout from the Chinese box office.
China also has one of those provisions where they only allow so many films into their market a year, so studios tend to compete for that market pretty fiercely. They must get SOME benefit out of it.
