I've read comic books for decades. I know when a sweeping (and pointless) retcon is going to crumble. One Zabrak not fitting this explanation will slip into continuity, then two. Within a year or two they won't bother reinforcing the official line.
(I don't mind the Nightbrothers having the marking naturally -- they have centuries of Dathomirian magic messing with their DNA. But the Nightbrothers are the tiniest fragment of the Zabrak species.)

I've been reading up on fan based comments, theories, etc. and one thing I've been noticing is most fans are under the false impression that the prophecy of the Chosen One said that the Chosen One would restore balance to the force by destroying the Sith. I've watched the Prequel movies more times than I can count and for the life of me, I don't know where they get this idea. It's very easily disproved.
When Qui Gon discovered Anakin he postulated that the boy might be "the Chosen One" of the prophecy. If the Chosen One was to "restore balance by destroying the Sith" it would make no sense that Qui Gon would think Anakin was the chosen one, being that, at the time the Jedi believed the Sith to be already destroyed!
Qui Gon did not learn the truth, that the Sith were not destroyed, until AFTER he tested Anakin to see if he was "the Chosen One." Why would Qui Gon even be LOOKING for a Chosen One to destroy the Sith being he thought the Sith were already destroyed?
Nothing is said ANYWHERE in the canon that the Chosen One would restore balance to the force by destroying the Sith.
I really miss the fantasy vibe that the Tales of the Jedi comics had.

As we've seen in TFA, the Sith are not the only wielders of the dark side of the force. Destroying them would not get rid of the dark side, not as long as there is hate, for hate is the path to the dark side.
Those who continue to argue that Anakin fulfilled the role of the Chosen One when he killed Darth Sidious (because the Sith were destroyed and balance had been restored) have NO LEG to STAND ON canonically.
If by "balance" in the force, the Jedi were talking about destroying the Sith to eliminate the influence of the dark side of the force, then (as some argue) then Anakin/ Darth Vader did NOT accomplish this (as we see clearly in TFA).
At the end of ROTJ we are left with no Jedi Order, a single Jedi Knight (who was only granted provisional Jedi status by Yoda before he died), no Jedi council, no Jedi master to train more Jedi. How does this bring "balance" to the force. At the end of ROTJ the galaxy was left in turmoil and chaos.
When Luke tried to train more Jedi he failed miserably (as we see in TFA). This is probably because he was not a Jedi Master, but only a newly appointed Jedi Knight himself.
I fail to see how anyone can see what happened after Vader cast Sidious into the core of the Death Star and say "yes, balance was restored."

Except that Lucas has said that Anakin fulfilled this in RotJ. Think of it this way. The Empire was extremely dangerous and if Vader had never turned back to the light the galaxy would have forever been ruled by the Sith because they had the power of death stars and the Jedi were completely destroyed. The First Order is a threat, but not nearly on the same level as the Empire so while it's still shitty that there's some big faction trying to fuck the galaxy over it's not that bad given that 70% of the galaxy is against this faction as opposed to the like 2% opposition there was to the Empire. The galaxy has a huge chance of stopping the First Order where they had little to no chance of stopping the Empire and would have lost if some crazy insane event like Vader killing Sidious and turning back to the light side hadn't happened.

Bacta seems to be able to do anything. During Bloodline's time it can even regrow bones. It's able to repair any flesh wounds or internal wounds apparently, and bring a person's body back to how it was before being injured.

All it takes to connect to someone with the force seems to be some sort of monitor or hologram. Sidious could force choke Dooku across space by appearing as a hologram on Serrano(?). Vader choked all those Imperials by seeing them on a live feed screen. We saw that there were monitors viewing the woman that got choked, so it's possible that Barriss found one at the time.

So I guess Rebels does actually advance a year in between every season. This means that Season 3 is probably set in 2 BBY. The next season coming out Fall 2017 will be 1 BBY and then by 2018 we'll be at Season 5 set in 0 BBY and will likely show Luke and Han.
I suspect that Ezra will turn to the dark side and Kanan may have to kill him. This will probably make Kanan give up trying to be a Jedi and if he ever meets Luke in the Rebellion he can just say that he doesn't want to talk about his past because otherwise it would be weird having Luke know a Jedi and not treat it like a huge event in any of the novels or comics that are already out. I suspect that if this happens Kanan will eventually tell Luke at the end of Rebels (set after Endor) and the final arc will be Luke convincing Kanan to become a Jedi in his new order.

Do you honestly think that every force sensitive they've shown will just die before the OT and Luke's order will be completely new teenage to adult force sensitives that pop up out of nowhere after Endor just to make it fit with a single line Yoda said when he was in an ignorant mindset anyways? And it doesn't jeopardize the OT arc since the point of the OT wasn't that Luke was the only Jedi, but that he was the only person who could possibly turn Vader back to the light and save the galaxy from forever being in darkness because the Chosen One was a Sith Lord.

Well Bloodline also raised a point that there are just some things they cannot cure, even when they don't just have access to miracle drugs but also things like nanodroids which presumably can do more than blow you up but can perform nanoscale construction and repair.
Still who wants a universe where ever wound is cheaply fixed. Even things like...okay, Vader SHOULD have been repairable without the necessity of turning him into a cyborg gimp. Clone him a new set of lungs, limbs, and skin to replace all the burned tissue. Even if you wanted to resort to cybernetics (Sheev certainly did since based on Bloodline the Emperor was VERY careful about his Apprentice's DNA, not wanting him to be identified OR cloned) they should have been able to clone him a nice set of internal artificial lungs. Luke's first prosthetic arm also showed us that they have artificial skin, indistinguishable from the real thing and able to FEEL, sending back nerve impulses to the brain. They could have desensitized his torched body, created cybernetic anchor points across his body, and wired in a cybernetic "flesh suit". A New Dawn made the point that Vidian could have easily afforded to restore himself into a far more presentable state than he did but he preferred to look like a monster to intimidate the fuck out of people. Sure Vader has that but it's still all about his suit, not his cybernetics.
