All jokes aside, Marvel probably noticed the leaked pic and lifted the embargo on reviews, interviews, etc and stuff.
DC did the exact same thing with Rebirth. Leaked pictures showed up on reddit, got removed, but people were already talking about it here, on cbr, etc. Few hours later and dc just said fuck it and allowed reviews, and not long later, interviews with Johns were up.
Then the issue actually came out.
They probably didn't want another Marvel Nower leaks situation on their hands. At least with an interview being up not long after a leak, more attention goes towards the interview and they can easily spin it in their favor or make it seem favorable.

This is why I dislike comic books. Marvel kills off a legacy character of Bruce Banner, not the Hulk as they have Cho, to push a meaningless story saga for Civil War 2. Bruce getting killed by an anti-hulk arrow is a pointless death. All fans know that the death will be retconned around the time the next movie is released. So why kill Bruce? Is it to piss off fans? I'm upset, but not in a manner which makes me want to spend money to read the issue as Civil War 2 has been terrible.

I blame all of this shit on the Death of Superman. I wasn't even a kid who liked comics at the time and even I knew Superman's death was fake. The reporters probably knew it too but they all reported it as if Superman was really being killed off and it became the comics event that broke into the mainstream media.
Ever since then comics people know the only thing that will get them mainstream media coverage is a "death." Recently they can also get coverage for "diversity" but that may not last. Ridiculous deaths will break into the MSM and be read by people who.... won't buy their comics anyway. But they keep hoping.

I mean yeah, "I don't care anymore" is the reaction most people have towards wacky marvel twists. It's frustrating because the reason they exist isn't because of marvel, it's because people can and still will give marvel insane boosts in revenue and press every time they do this. Even if the individual has learned, the whole hasn't, and that means we're stuck with it forever. We'll get short bursts of decent camic books, and then when funds are running dry, everything will become terrible again.
