Lemire kinda made her too competent in his Hawkeye when the point of Fraction was that both she and Clint were fuck-ups with hearts of gold.
Clint's just gettin on in years while Kate's got that youth going for her.
Weirdly enough while Kate was a bit more...actiony than Clint, I don't feel like she's had a character arc or memorable moments. Heck when the story switched to her flashback, it was just that. Her flashback. She didn't lead the charge or go on a solo mission. It was more or less just Clint's story.
The whole 2 vols were more like a recap/refresher of their origins. But Fraction had a criminal empire ready to hunt down the two. It looked to be a great set up that was never delivered on.
