I get that people would not find it faithful but honestly it's the only way I can think of that can convey the goblin's costume so that it will be taken seriously by movie spectators (the tactical body suit) while at the same time showing how batshit crazy Norman really is and giving the suit the comic-ish feel (going full goblin with the mask).
