The use of quiet in this episode was stellar, especially for a show that can be a little obnoxious with the "XD so randum" time to time.

I actually figured this one out. He wants the monsters to win a fair fight. If he simply stole the wand and took over stars home, you have a repeat, just monsters and Munies switching places, eventually wand switching places. If the wand was destroyed it would be a fair fight but that didn't happen. If both the Munies and monsters get a part of the wand there will be a true winner... Or maybe even peace.

Literally they had a wall beetween them, but the episode setted up several plot points, most importatnly the fact that star can use magic witouth the wand and that the dip down thing was triggered by marco, just like in the end of storm the castle, also the fact that star is hiding what she feels for marco, be it romantic or not, Glossaric fucking with marco to trigger stars magic,and something is clearly wrong with the horse in the wand.
And holy fuck the whole ludo episode turned him from a little shit to a somewhat likeable character, it felt like a samurai jack episode.
Now the point of that episode bieng what is gonna happen during those 90 days that ludo spent in the wild before finding the wand, either he is gonna be abscent till mid season or until the finale.I want to see more of starfan, she is cute.

I'm trying to temp down my Starco wiles here, I agree that it's probably the second. Maybe on the first few days she actually harbored some mean feelings for him that she no longer had by end of S1, but she is still ashamed about them.
I also find it interesting that in the end the 'spark' for her dipping down is the old form of personal journals, while she started the episode in the new form of personal journal.
If Star will blurt out those mean feelings eventually, then it can be seen as the development of how teenage girls use diaries. Vlogs are far more public than personal diary and the user of the latter may slip up after experience with the former.

I think that was just his intuition. He spent however many months believing that she and her wand were his only shot at power, at being respected, but now he has gone way further than before on his own.
