You're too hard to please. This episode had several excellent jokes and lines, which managed to distract the viewer from the fact that show was becoming lame and stale.
Simpsons season 10 is the definition of mixed bag. One episode is good, and then the next is totally crappy, then the next is good again, and so on.

These are good examples. Marg-ian Chronicles was like a pseudo sequel to Deep Space Homer, and was pretty good outside the rushed resolution
