Blue Beetle/Booster Gold appreciation thread?
I for one love the duo and their original and stylish feel on the old Justice League and with their movie "announced" I could not be happier. What are your guys thoughts? Personally I think the entire extended Justice League should be included in the DCU, and this is the perfect way to do it. Zatana, Mr. Miracle, Red Tornado, Firestorm, Dr. Fate anybody? That's where DC could have the real huge jump on Marvel, WB has access to ALL of the DC characters (to my knowledge) so they could technically have a Justice League movie with dozens of members. Just like the JLU cartoon, the pinnacle of superhero production. It's not like Captain Boomerang and Slipknot weren't enough of a stretch already. I say bring on the 2nd (or 3rd) tiers DC! Even if it may take more than 10 years of (successful) movie making to get there.

With rebirth with Ted actually alive now, and the movie happening, do you bros think theres a chance we'll get another Blue and Gold story, whether it be a one-shot, mini or hell, even an ongoing?
I want to read the original Booster series, but for the life of me, I can't find the Showcase volume for sale online at a normal price.
Should I just download it or whatever already?

Because of how they showcased his relationship with Ted, this episode is my favorite appearance of Booster in this series. He was way too goofy and stupid, they sure overplayed his JLI days.
But still, it was very nice to see him still voiced by the same actor he was in JL, as well as Skeets. My head cannon is that, they're both the same Booster Gold and he's overplaying his incompetence to stay unnoticed, and get something very important done in the background.
I wish Ted could be like he was in that one Convergence special more often.
People went too far with the bwa ha ha stuff, dude needs to be competent once in a while too.

I'm hoping Giffen without Dematties and Ted not knowing Michael yet means he can fully display his competency in BB. I want new gadgets, we need more than the BB gun and mag lock fingers.
