Most of /co/ can't stand her because of this panel from Angela.
But really, she a bad-to-mediocre writer whose work shows how little research she does when writing her stories and characters and who uses hijinks like pic-related to distract from her otherwise boring stories. Maybe that'll work better in a book like Pussycats, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Bennett is iffy for him. I don't like any of what she's actually written so far but I don't think she's a bad writer: there's evident consideration in her work and it's aiming for something, it just tends to be undisciplined and fond of the meta or shock value or pop culture references.

They felt that Pepper was too similar to student protesters of the day and scrapped her just before shifting the comic from "Josie" to "Josie and the Pussycats".
Pepper also had an on/off boyfriend named Socrates. He was cool, but Pepper's my waifu so fuck him.I'd love to see a new "Pepper" miniseries where she's an SJW-type, but ends up getting shot down by Socrates when trying to turn him on to her ways.
