Pretty dull and boring so far. It's been a while since I read the comics, but I seem to remember things actually happening. Not just just Jesse sitting around and doing nothing.
If you take it as a alternate universe to the comic or hadn't read it before, you will love it. If you are a annoying purist that keeps screaming MUH COMIC you probably won't like it. Either way, stick until episode 6, it's where shit gets real and interesting.

I think it's a pretty good AMC drama about a priest slowly being consumed by his own ego and repressed grief after being given powers.
That's just not what Preacher is. I'm not particularly mad about that, but I get why fans would be, at this point it's basically an entirely different thing.
