I personally think the move to TBS has made it pretty awful.
It's still watchable, but it doesn't take the creative risks that it used to take that made it so good-- like an entire episode dedicated to Jim James, or Roger's personas starting to destroy each other's lives.
It's just bit comedy now.
it's sad this episode doesn't get the same sort of recognition that "Band Geeks" from Spongebob does.
Literally the entire episode it's the best episode the entire time.
