So what does Indra do with his time when he's not in his super suit?

He's supposed to be some rich guy who donates to charities as his cover or something, right?
Which charities and how many are covers for something more sinister?

To some extent, it's not a front.
Indra grew up in the parts of the US less tolerant to superhumans, which he was particularly influenced by due to his friendship with Phi and Mu. He's actually somewhat affected personally by the plight of the shunned and outcast members of society, and acts as something of a human rights activist.

He sees his gang as a means by which for the disenfranchised to take back control. A noticeable number of the Livewires are individuals who have lost limbs or suffered other significant quality of life injuries, and he ropes them into joining with the promise of access to advanced prosthetics and other medical care.

It doesn't disguise or excuse the fact he's a thug and a criminal, but it goes to show how he perceives himself.

He can shape-shift into a larger, more monstrous form, fire pressurized oil from his body, alter the viscosity of oils making them thicker and harder hitting, create oil constructs.

So that's the take on Orange, huh?

Teal is some kind of big ball of wings and eyes last I saw it talked about.

It's a ball of wings that nobody knows what's inside. However, it's supposed to be so much the definition of "perfect" that you can't even see the seams between its feathers. If even a single feather is visible, something bad is going to happen.

That's Delta, a shapeshifter. The name comes from the usage of the symbol Delta to represent change. As a shapeshifter, Delta is known to frequently switch between male and female on a whim. Characteristically, Del doesn't take heroic work or even daily life very seriously. As a self-styled artist and actor, Delta has a rather dramatic and theatrical personality.

>>
>>84398520
>Delta is rather neutral in the whole super shenanigans game, I think all Delta really does is sometimes stand in for Motion to make sure her secret identity isn't compromised.

Not exactly. Delta's stake in heroism is personal, and at first, the only contributions to playing hero are ones that Delta believes will contribute towards resolving that stake. Del is neutral by way of not being particularly concerned with crime as a whole at first.
>>
>>84398828
You have me super curious about all these plot ideas, but at the same time I feel like if you just tell us all about them then you might lose motivation to draw them.

It's like how I have many ideas about the AC(oSF), but no way to act on them and so I never get into what plots I come up with for that group in these threads.

One of the ideas I had for the AC(oSF) involved the mysterious new group known as "The Bomb Squad" going around causing trouble and the AC(oSF) meeting the new hero, Bombastic, who is trying to stop them for very personal reasons.

But that plot would need to come after CEO Slick is established.

Because I think Bombastic's plot line works better as part of another plot line than as a standalone.

It's like how Six Feet Thunder was integrated into the Motion plot.
>>
>>84399282
>>84400336
I think they'd fit well into the Stretcherous plotline. They're manufactured superhumans, like Stretch and her sister. We've already connected a dot since the tentative lead Stretch gets on her sister comes from meeting Bombastic in the /co/ve undercity fighting ring. The loyal members of the Bomb Squad are probably still working for the company that produced them all, and so Bombastic and Stretch have a reason to ally up.
>>
>>84399282
I always figured the Aqua Teens would interact with those guys at some point. When Slick gets involved they're liable to have a stake.

Wonder if any of the Bomb Squad are water soluble.
>>
>>84400643
The problem is that's the same plot as Bombastic meeting the AC(oSF).

And since the Bomb-Squad were made by Slick, it'd make more sense for them to be introduced in an Aqua Coalition plot.

>>84400713
See, my idea for the AC(oSF) goes like this

>Diving Belle becomes a full member of the Justice Coalition, puts out some fires, then goes off into the Pacific ocean on her own looking for leads on what happened to her dad
this is the whole assembling the team starter issues
>Diving Belle and Caliber team up to bring down the League of Evil Surfers
>Spearhead finds Jellybro just drifting aimlessly in the ocean while going after Belle, brings him back to shore, pins Levi to the wall, goes back out following Belle
>Belle and Caliber meet Reef, help him fight a tentacle shark monster, teamwork sucks until Spearhead arrives and co-ordinates them
ream is now assembled, then they
>Spearhead begins training them all to work as a team
>Bloom encounter from a few threads ago happens
>Aftermath of that and getting the victims restored to normal while investigating who reactivated the lab
>Bloom reestablishes the hive mind and now they've gotta go after her again
>Bloom + investigations lead them to whoever Slick was before becoming slick
>Zombie jellyfish attack the oil rig he's visiting because he's an egotistical ass
>Oil monster released, AC defeat it, a drop of it lands on Slick who gets off scott free because evidence destroyed
>CEO Slick is born when it takes over his body and his own horror show begins
Bloom arc ends with the birth of CEO Slick, then there's room for other stuff to happen before we get into the bomb arc
>Slick acquires Bombastic's old suit
>Learns of a new power to create soldiers when his oil mixes with the residue in the suit
>Each have unique powers, suits them up and sends them out to capture Bombastic to make a huge army of supers to do his bidding and corner the market
>AC(oSF) and Bombastic need to team up to stop this
>>
>>84401081

No, it's more likely to start with Stretch, then conclude with the AC(oSF).

I really hate those kinds of cross comics though since they always feel so uncoordinated.
Like in the Green Lantern run in recent years they'd have a shit load of plots running and set something up in one issue only for some big crossover happening in some other series to cause them to cancel their plans in the issue they set up the things in.

Like when Atrocitus gained possession of The Butch (red entity that powers all their rungs), he was going to go fuck Guy's shit up with it (Guy was the new leader of the Reds at the time), but then a crossover in another issue meant they had to pull The Butcher from Atrocitus and cancel all those plans.
That kind of thing always pissed me off since it was so unsatisfying.

Now the issue here is, in the AC(oSF) story line during what I'm calling the "Bomb Arc" the stuff with Stretch would've already happened.

But what happened with Bombastic and Stretch? They fought in the /co/ve hanger fights for whatever sport can be found there, but what leads those two to buddying up to fight the Bomb-Squad? And what causes Stretch to bail before the job is done?

I figure Slick will change tactics after he fails to capture Bombastic and instead will have the Bomb-Squad committing crimes to lure him into a trap.

>what leads those two to buddying up to fight the Bomb-Squad? And what causes Stretch to bail before the job is done?

I'm thinking that part of Stretch's story takes her back to the facility she was born at, and Bombastic tags along.

We haven't really setup Bombastic's plotline too much, but we have at least one key event. We know he starts of somewhat villainous until he ditches the original suit that was made for him. If the stuff involving Stretch happens first, we could have him suited up as a villain to start with and remodel himself while he's helping Stretch out with whatever it is she's doing in the facility.

That opens the route for Slick to get his old suit and use it to engineer the others.
>>
>>84401081
How did Slick find the abandoned lab?
How did he reach it to reactivate it despite the traps any mad scientist would doubtless have?

This is hinting at some skills Slick may have beyond his business acumen and oil parasite.

>>

Assuming we go with >>84401710 there's a decent chance the facility will have been wrecked to all hell. Slick can just step in with funding for a company that desperately needs it, or even a buyout.

Is he just hoping to find something that might help him restore his body and this is as good a place to start as any?

>>84401757
He had the super power of money long before his oil powers.

He might also have ties to old supervillainy, or have bought something that had a map of all the old labs and noticed some of them where never raided by the good guys or Carver Medical when they were riding on Korr's old research.

Different abandoned labs.

There's the lab that Stretch was born(?) at and there's the underwater lab in the Bloom story of the AC(oSF) that was like a side-project lab of Korr's or Barracuda's that's old and was never found by the heroes.

I suppose Slick could buy the lab Stretch was born at and get Bombastic's old suit as well since he left it there. Then he has the newly bought lab re-staffed and uses it to fit the Bomb-Squad with plans to expand from there.
>>
>>84401940
>>Is he just hoping to find something that might help him restore his body and this is as good a place to start as any?

Maybe word gets to Stretch that he might know something about the facility, but he doesn't really know enough to find it himself. Stretch eventually gets the actual location and he's eager to join in on a visit. Could be that he's looking for something specific, but it could also just be that he wants answers.
>>
>>84401940
>He had the super power of money long before his oil powers.
>He might also have ties to old supervillainy, or have bought something that had a map of all the old labs and noticed some of them where never raided by the good guys or Carver Medical when they were riding on Korr's old research.

I'm seeing potential for him to be really smart and resourceful in his own right, to make him into the /co/verse's Lex Luthor, only, you know, oilier.

Slick for president
>>
I also feel it's worth reiterating that Slick was still human during the events of that underwater lab.

Don't need confusion over the timeline.

>>84402017
So we're first introduced to Bombastic while he's still in his huge suit and fighting in a /co/ve hanger fight against Stretch.
Is this an early Stretch story before she goes off on her crazy adventure?

Who gave Bombastic his original bulky suit? /co/ntainment? Someone else?
It seems like we're leaning to him getting the slimmed down one from the lab he visits with Stretch.
>>
Just had a thought.

The whole reason why Slick buys the lab that Bombastic and Stretch were at is because he wants a place on his payroll to research his condition.
>>
>>84402188
>Who gave Bombastic his original bulky suit? /co/ntainment? Someone else?

Presumably the lab that created him. They wanted him as a weaponized superhuman, but he got away (he might have escaped during some sort of transfer, to explain how he knows the general region but not actual location of their lab).

I think it was floated at one point or another that part of the reason Blackstrap visited Chicago was that the company responsible for Stretch, her sister, and Bombastic is the same one responsible for Rime, Toxique and Volt. Probably different labs under the same company.
>>
>>84402542
That's a pretty good angle.
>>
>>84402926
Most likely different labs since all the ones that produced Motion's rogues got destroyed somehow or another.

I think the lab they visit in this particular story should be further out west than Chicago though since that's a bit far from Slick's area of operation.

Of course before all that I still need to set aside some time to think through the next part of the Bloom arc.

I know where it ends at, I just need to build up to it and also get the particulars of Slick's transformation sorted.

He may have even bought his way in before Stretch and Bombastic wrecked the place. If they did something to damage or destroy the research that was being done on Slick, he'll have a good reason to have a personal grudge, explaining why he's so eager to send the Bomb Squad to harass him.

It's possible the suit Bomb stole was meant for Slick himself.
>>
>>84403234
I'd like to keep the Bomb-Squad's entrance for the "bomb arc" of the AC(oSF) where they are hunting Bombastic so Slick can use him to make more super henchmen.

The suit Bombastic steal originally being intended for Slick is a good idea. So he buys a lab, and that lab just so happened to be involved with the creation of Stretch at some point.

I don't think I like the idea of research derived from Slick being what creates Bombastic though. It should be something more separated than that.

I didn't mean to imply that.

If the labs that created Bomb and Toxique are under different companies, I'd have to at least expect that one or more of the researchers from the first lab ended up working in the Chicago lab. If Volt has info on who exactly those researchers are, it squares up how Stretch gets the location of the lab.
>>
>>84403623
OK, so this takes place after Stretch meets Volt.

We're probably going to need to make a timeline soon to keep track of what's going on when and where since the Stretch and Aqua stories now have a link, and certain events need to occur for other events in the other story to follow.

So does this all lead to a Belle vs. Stretch showdown? Junior heroine vs junior villain?
>>
>>84406779
Doubtful. At best, it's a strange bedfellows scenario. Stretch is somewhat friends with Bombastic, so if it's Belle and Bomb vs. the Bomb Squad, she's not going to be on the BS side.
>>
>>84406832
Every crossover has the protagonists duke it out for dubious reasons. Maybe one of the more aggressive aqua teens would make more sense.
>>
>>84406779
I don't think Belle and Stretch meet during this bomb business.

After Stretch and Bomb raid that lab, Bomb gets a new suit and Stretch goes off to check out her next lead.
Then Slick finds the old suit and the Bomb-Squad is born.
>>
>>84406869
I can see a reason why the AC(oSF) would end up fighting Bombastic.

They fight the Bomb-Squad before meeting him and think he's one of these super henchmen Slick has, then they find out from him that he's the original and he's trying to put an end to this madness.

Levi can super-size.
Caliber is just strong, that applies everywhere, I think.
Reef can probably carry around some coral polyps to work with.
Jellybro could probably saunter on over to somebody and sting them, if they didn't move too fast.
Belle can grab some water from wherever to manipulate, but unless they're particularly vulnerable to being doused I don't know how useful that would be.
Bloop can do the headcrab thing if somebody with good aim gives him a toss I guess.
>>
>>84411940
I think Reef can just spontaneously grow coral from nothing and in any shape he wants.
>>
Reading through this thread, I kinda want to participate and think up a few ideas.

Are there any rules for character creation around here, one as to follow?
>>
>>84415407
The only rule is to come up with something you'd personally enjoy, then someone else might like it and you get ideas bouncing off of each other.

It's pretty fun when that happens.
>>
>>84415462
So, anything goes? I´m off to the writing table then...

Has "immortal prussian soldier" already been done? Such an idea has been on my mind for a while.
>>
>>84415556
Prussian? No, that hasn't been done before.
>>
>>84415753
Okay, here it goes. It´s a rough draft, I hope it´s good. Picture not included, because I can´t draw that well.

Jochen Steunhaupt - Grey ahir reaching his shoulders and a grey beard trimmed above the adams apple. Blue eyes and pale skin.

Feldmasrschall Preußen was the young son of an village smith, born in 1623, who upon having had his home sacked forged himself an armor, sword and shield and went to war, first to avenge his village then to figth for his homeland. Over the course of the next 500 years, he never died. Allthough by 1900, he looked like an wrinkled old man in his seventies.

For abilities, he only has his swordfigthing skills and unknowlingst to him, minor regeneration powers.

Unable to die from old age, he is assumed to be still killable in combat.
>>
>>84416168
OK, but what's he do?

That kind of idea has been done before (sort've) in the main comic scene with General Immortus in the Brotherhood of Evil.

So this Persian guy, if he lives for so long, maybe he just gives up fighting since anything he was fighting for was washed away by time?
He fights for his country, but he lives so long that the country is no longer "his" country, as in it changed with the times and he was too busy fighting to change with it.

What's he do when that happens? I feel the potential story here begins after the fighting has ended.
>>
>>84417188
Didn´t thougth as much about that part. Only things I´ve got are - trying to keep fighting, even if he becomes slowly more and more obsolete and trying to teach a new generation.

He´s going to have the relevation of being getting increasingly unneeded as the years pass by, unless he can change himslef to be like his country.
>>
>>84417330
You really need a hook for this since right now it feels very bland.

Who was he even fighting against?
>>
>>84418406
Corruption, Criminals, knigth wannabes and during his life countless armys.

Like I said, it´s still a rough draft. I´m still fleshing this stuff out.
>>

Can he make coral golems?
>>
>>84419801

I guess I'll post some ideas since I'm not gonna draw for these threads for a while.

I posted it before, so I'll get somewhat more in depth with it. Basically its the idea about Tats interviewing street level heroes, every month she has to present one hero in an article. Its more or less something she is forced to do by her boss.

She kinda doesn't want to have much to do with heroes because they represent the mysterious brought to light, so there are no suprises left, nothing more to discover.

She does her re-search reluctantly, without much motivation by just googling their names, yet she has a hard time answering the question about why they became heroes in the first place, so she forces herself to do the interviews.

She finds out a lot of personal stuff about the heroes, practically a lot of background drama, hopeful stories and simplicities in their reasons.
>>
>>84424853
>She kinda doesn't want to have much to do with heroes because they represent the mysterious brought to light, so there are no suprises left, nothing more to discover.

That is the opposite of the characterization we've been running for Tats. She's all about exposed truths. Her issue with superheroes is that she hates masks.
>>
>>84425048

fine by me. such story lives from the single heroes, I'd like to use some /coc/-characters but the random button has been failing me lately, some characters seem way too involved in other things to be at street level. Also I'd like to have heroes without all the special powers and ressources, no super intelligence or talents beyond those of a normal human being, rather weak superpowers would also work and somewhat above average talents and abilities.

Colonel Panic, an early experiment at digital immortality who went mad after becoming the ghost in the machine.
Corporal Punishment, seen there, some sort of authoritarian future super soldier in the vein of Judge Dredd.
Private Time, who has, you guessed it, time warping powers. Might have to do with Corporal Punishment somehow, since he's from the future.

So part 2 of the "Bloom arc" would go something like

A news report shows the aftermath of the jelly zombies marching on the beach and how the young heroes saved the day without harming anyone. Then it switches to reporting the cause was an old undersea lab and we see Carver Medical submarines all around the place and their staff inside looking for any and all research to be found within it to reverse the process.

The TV is shut off by Spearhead who tells the team they did good, but also that Belle is right to think this isn't over yet since they don't know who reactivated the lab. At this we should switch to the PresagiOil Corporation where some guy is yelling over the phone about how the beaches are now a media sensation and business is stronger than ever, something about super tourism. He says they'll need to try harder if they want that property for cheap.

Then we cut to the first patient they brought in infected with the Bloom and how he's in a vat of something. He's looking a lot better, much more human and less jelly. The process is taking some time, but the jelly fish finally detaches and is scooped up by someone with a pool net before it's placed in a smaller jar. They've been able to cure the man, but the process is time consuming and they simply don't have the resources available to treat everyone in a timely manner. The angle we're watching this from then shifts around and we see general Freedom was watching the procedure who then makes a call saying "Then we'll get you all the [miracle cure] you need."

The AC(oSF) are still patrolling the shores, looking for any other infected and also keeping an eye out for the Bloom queen. Jellybro had to go through even more tests since he seems to be immune to the Bloom, so he's rubbing whatever spot they drew fluids from him at. There'd be character interaction here, but I'm kind of bad at that.
Then Levi picks up on some seismic blasting happening and they go check that out.

That's where I'm at.

It's an oil rig that's the cause of it, and it's not on any of the maps or anything.

This is where I'm a bit stumped. They can't just go up there and start beating people up, but I don't want them to leave either.

The thing I'd like to do is the Bloom infected individuals start going nuts since the queen re-established the hive-mind and she's having them all converge at a single point, they're going after the CEO of the PresagiOil Corporation.

What I'd like to do with this, is they aquas allow one zombie out and follow him to whenever the horde would be going, then the rest get out. They start trashing the oil company's sky scrapper and the aquas put two-and-two together and head back out to that oil rig where all the workers have been infected with the Bloom and are trashing the place. I guess the CEO was visiting and he's hold up in an office with some other workers who he's more than willing to throw to the hordes to keep out of their clutches.

The oil rig gets damaged in a way where it causes a spill, but the spill takes the form of a giant monster that heads to shore. The aquas have to fight it.

When they beat it, a drop of it lands on the CEO who readjusts his suit and goes about his merry way since all the evidence that could be used to link him to unleashing the Bloom was destroyed.

It just feels rather sloppy in execution though. I have the events, but I can't seem to order them in a way that's better structured.

I really should get that greentext about the Duke on the wiki somewhere.

The problem with it is I just don't know where to put it since it takes place during Cosmic Crusaders, and that's after the Tales from the Demon Plane have concluded.

And that hasn't concluded yet since there's still plot to do it in. Might as well share the cliff notes on where I was planning to go with it after that story at the skein.

>Erin has to make another delivery to some demon in some slums
>Some other demons are after him and he won't let Erin complete her delivery since then she would have no obligation to defend him from his pursuers
>Erin has to beat those guys
>The delivery she makes to him was sent by himself just to get a cheaper merc/bodyguard as Courier Guild delivery rates are cheaper than local protection guild rates
>Demon is revealed to be one who works for yellow

>Erin has to deliver a talking mask that never shuts up
>Has to deliver it to someone in one of yellow's planes
>Whole point of the delivery was just to have the mask spy on Erin and learn what's important about her to report to yellow
>Mask failed to learn anything significant since Erin is not talkative and gets smashed by the person it was delivered to shortly after Erin leaves

>>Boss Imp has a dangerous personal assignment for Erin
>Needs her to go to the dream plane and collect something from the dream archives there
>Erin has to navigate the world of dreams made real ruled over by the Amber and Indigo demon kings
>Thing she was sent to retrieve were old dreams of Boss Imp's parents to add to his legitimacy case

>There's trouble in orange's planes, more than usual anyway
>Some new demon has arrived there and is trying to become the new Moribund
>Boss Imp suspects yellow sent him and doesn't want yellow getting orange on top of already having red
>Sends Erin in there to see what's up
oh, out of space.
>>
>>84432877
>Place is a shit show, looks like hell with volcanoes and shit with all the demons fighting for a place in the pecking order
>The current Moribund is fighting against this new guy and Erin has to find a way to tip the odds in the current Moribund's favor
>Just what is Boss Imp's relation to the current Moribund? (spoiler, it's his sister/cousin who yellow also fucked over when he made their dad brain dead, she's in direct line for the Crimson throne though, so she couldn't do shit about it)

>Boss Imp begins to present his case argument in demon court against yellow
>At the same time, Erin has finally learned enough magic to help Hank fix the portal to her world

That's all the plot heavy story ideas I had about future demon planes tales, less plot heavy ones would probably involved a prison in the immaculate structure where Erin has to deliver a prisoner to.
Visiting the inside of the Glutton Lord's giant beat to make a pizza delivery.
And other non-demon king related deliveries.

That's just a whole lot of plans I have for the story, but actually getting them written out is much more difficult. Plus I'm currently on this Aqua Coalition kick in this thread, gotta go where the inspiration takes me.

One of the ideas that came up for a while at one point was that Erin actually learns everything she needs to go home just before the Boss is ready to take down the Jester. She could leave and avoid all the upcoming conflict without a second thought if she really wanted. But, of course, she chooses to stick it out and contribute whatever she can.

Yeah, I tend to make a note of any significant discussions and base the plot around those.

Selkies are coast dwellers, often living in caves accessible from underwater, and cliffy areas not frequented by other races. Maybe if I look at it with fresh eyes tomorrow, after I'm done with all the crap I need to do, I'll be able to put it together better.
>>
>>84431926
Alright, let's see.

There are three ways I can see the Aqua Teens getting their lead about the oil rig. One, they happen to be visiting the Bloomed victims when they go berserk and try to make for the rig. Two, the Coalition calls them about same and they work out the "tail the zombie" plan. Three, they get an SOS from the rig, which is already under attack.

By my reckoning, if the Bloom were cut off from the Queen until it was released, not all of them would have headed for dry land once they found a body, which means there are probably still a reasonable number of missing persons for the Queen to mount its attack on the rig with even before our heroes know what's going on.

Whether or not they get an SOS beforehand, they should get one once they get there, alerting the ACoSF to the fact that Slick and some others are holed up and under siege, which presumably leads to the team splitting up, half to fight the Bloom and half to find Slick and escort him and his lackeys to safety. If the team is relatively new at this point this could be a place for a little friction as the more ambitious members jockey for authority/which team they're on.

The next question becomes, why are the Bloom attacking the rig? Are they just looking for more bodies? Is it something to do with the oil? And that leads to the next next question: why IS the oil evil? Does the oil monster have something to do with the Bloom?

If the ACoSF are helping Slick escape, he should do something sneaky and self-serving during the battle with the oil monster that leads to him getting infected. Tie the condition that much more strongly to his nature, sort of thing. This would probably mean the oil monster battle would take place at the rig?

Also, I suppose if this is an unlicensed oil rig there might be armed guards there somewhere, so the ACoSF could potentially battle with those to protect the Bloom victims from being gunned down, though that might be a bit dark for the Aqua Teens.

Alright, so maybe they're out looking for more infected victims when they get a call from the JC telling them the Bloom victims are starting to go crazy again. The AC(oSF) head back to shore since they're not finding any out at sea right now and see that all of the zombies are pointing in the same direction, this is a big enough clue to reason the hive-mind has been re-established, so they use a zombie to guide them to whenever the horde is being called to.

The Bloom queen is attacking the oi rig because she recognizes the CEO guy as the one who put her in a cage and shocked the shit out of her for days to piss her off enough to assimilate this huge horde. This was all part of his plan to ruin the coastal areas around here so he could buy up the drilling rights off shore for cheap. The Bloom queen just wants revenge.

That is some top-notch work! I kind of dig your more detailed take on GG's costume. Probably how it would look if we had a Cinematic Universe.

Yeah, they've been done for a couple weeks. I just like drawing boobs, so I put em on the backburner.

There's bee a huge spike in page views on the wiki for The Developing Adventures of Golden Girl page.

Is something happening somewhere I'm not aware of?

Well, there doesn't seem to be an /aco/ thread up, so beats me.

Nice.
Just pumping them out right now, huh?

Reminds me, I should probably go track down that outline of encounters Stretch goes through in her story since one of the groups she teams up with are the Vixen Six.

They'd want the booru for that.

I should probably add a link to the relevant booru tag on that page.

-Participate in the /co/ve hanger fight club looking for leads about where her sister is (fight Nosefire in the ring)
-Lead takes her to Ma'am Aries who has a beef with her because of something her sister did (gets used as "support" by her)
-Does a job with the Vixen Six (there's greentext about this)
-Does Jhonny Volt a favor (I'm not sure what though), which gets her in on...
-A heist with the Thieves Guild and another lead
-Meets /co/lette?
-Forms the Mean Teens (Shade, Melting Point, others)
-Finally finds her sister who is pissed at her for getting involved in this lifestyle.
-Tries to disband the Mean Teens after her sister gets her to quit. Shade tells her to fuck right off, appoints herself the new leader and formally kicks Stretcherous out.
-Becomes a life coach with The Collective?

Where does the Bombastic team up happen in this? It'd need to happen before the Mean Teens.

I can see /co/lette crossing paths with Stretch more than once, mainly cause of the parallel they have with both being impressionable youths who looked up to their older sisters. Possibly an unofficial rivalry or something.

Ignore the seismic blasting for now.

The AC(oSF) get a call from Spearhead to come back to shore since something weird is happening. When they get there, all the Bloom infected at on the move again, and they're all facing the same direction when trying t bust out of their enclosures, it's making treating them impossible because they keep thrashing around. The group figures the queen has reactivated the hive-mind, Levi gives Belle some flack over not letting her kill the thing when they had the chance, but they don't have time for that now. Jellybro suggests they should just follow a zombie to the queen since she's probably calling them all to her location for something. This is something unexpectedly intelligent from Jellybro.

So the AC(oSF) have a zombie in a glass tank and are using it like a compass to figure out where to go. They're riding in a hydrofoil because
1. it's better to make sure the infected person doesn't get hurt, and
2. this is much faster than cutting it lose and following it.

It soon becomes apparent where the bloom zombie is trying to go when they see an oil rig in the distance and also pick up an SOS coming from it. The rig is unregistered, it shouldn't be there, and it's also crawling with bloom infected, the queen must be nearby.

Levi and Jellybro (along with Bloop) stay in the water to try to find the queen (as they are immune to Bloom control), Belle, Reef, and Caliber start working their way up the rig. The zombies are all crowding around the entrances and seem to be ignoring the aquas until they start getting close to an entrance and someone shoots a flare at them, causing the Bloom infected to go after them while whoever was inside makes a break for the higher platforms and offices (oil rigs have those, right?). There's also a helipad on the other side of the rig.

Belle uses some water to knock the bloom infected back and her group makes their way into the interior with Reef sealing the way in behind them with coral.

Back in the water, Levi is in fish form and on the hunt with Jellybro clinging to her to try to guide her in the right direction if he senses anything, and Bloop is clinging to Jellybro. What they see when they find the queen is a little different than what they saw last time they met, and it also complicates things significantly.

Back up in the rig, Belle's group has found an office that's being besieged. Reef forms coral over his arms and starts pulling the infected away from the door, riot shield style at some point to let the ladies enter. When inside they find a bunch of still uninfected people crudely armed and in various hiding places. The most important looking of them is hiding under the most important looking boss desk, and seeing that these are heroes and not zombies, he comes out and greets them "Heroes, good to see you, took you long enough to get here, we put out that SOS almost 15 minutes ago!" this guy is going to be a pain in the ass (and he's also Slick). Belle wants an explanation, but Slick brushes her off saying there will be PLENTY of time for finger pointing after they rescue them. Slick goes on to tell them they need to get to the helipad for an evac and could really use an escort.

Back in the water, the Bloom Queen now has a human body she's latched onto the head of like in her profile pic. This is a hostage situation. She also has swarms of Jellyfish buzzing around her, there are also zombies on the seafloor doing something to the base of the oil rig. If they don't act fast, they'll probably have an environmental disaster and a lot of dead people since they won't be able to breath oil. Levi goes to start getting the zombies away from the rig leaving Jellybro and Bloop to deal with the queen. Looks like it's they'll have to use diplomacy after all.

Belle, Caliber, and Reef at quickly getting tired of this business guy who won't stop being a smug asshat as he brazenly walks around corners expecting the heroes to save him from anything that might jump out from around them. He's seriously making this harder than it needs to be. Caliber is leading the group since she can get the bulkheads open the fastest while Reef brings up the rear, keeping their tail from catching up, Belle is protecting the 'flock' in the middle that they're herding. They've made it to the helipad, but the chopper there is only for two, and now there's bloom infected everywhere since Slick already started it up. One of his guys tries to get in the chopper with him, but he gets mobbed by the infected and stung enough times so we can see tendrils starting to poke out of his face, an early sign of slow infection, Slick kicks him back into the horde and also kicks another guy into the horde who was trying to get into the chopper saying "Sorry, not taking any chances!". Before he can take off, the whole rig tilts to one side.

Back down below, a few minutes earlier, Jellybro and Bloop are trying to communicate with the queen who is very much in a "NO PEACE" kind of mood. They begin trying to warn her about the dangerous oil that will come out of the ground if they continue their attack. Bloom queen agrees oil is dangerous, but the impression Jellybro gets from her is she thinks of oil as an individual, not a substance. Pressing this, Jellybro starts getting psychic imagines from the queen about this guy who caged her, zapped her, and was an oil mogul, as well as the land grab plan the queen heard him talking about. He wanted to use her to clear out the humans from some plot of land, she kept getting zapped meaning the hive-mind went on auto-pilot: assimilate, attack the enemy. Mogul is the enemy and is located on dry land, hordes go to dry land without her ordering it.

>>
>>84455591
She gets freed from the zap cage, broke off the hive-mind to go find this man herself, and then called her hordes to her location when she found him.

Levi is having a hard time keeping the zombies on the seafloor away from the rig without killing them. She's pretty much stuck scooping them off of the sea floor and tossing them into open waters where they drift back to the rig after a while. She roars at Jellybro to hurry up, which knocks him back to his senses after the psychic jolt to his brain he got. Bloop as been slapping him for a while now to make him snap out of it, and the Queen is right in his face without him having noticed. Jellybro figures that if she can do that to him, he can do it to her and conveys images to her brain about what will happen if that rig gets damaged, oil spills are never pretty and there are better ways to catch this guy. Levi has lost patience and is making a charge at the queen, before she can stop, the swarm of jellyfish knock her into the base of the rig, causing it to tilt. We see some oil start to leak out of the bottom, though it's not moving like regular oil, it's twisting around the drill and oozing up it to the surface.

Back up top side, the whole rig is now tilted, Slick is still clinging to the inside of his chopper while trying to take off and is sliding across the platform ever so slowly. The bloom hordes are also now jumping off of the rig as something dark slithers across is, moving like snakes to barrels and popping them open making them grow fat. We're going full TOXIC LOVE here.

Enter the oil monster and Belle's "you gotta be blooping kidding me" face since this is so out of left field (if anyone has any suggestions to make it less "where the fuck did this come from?" I'm all ears).

Now here I'm a bit stuck again since this is the oil monster before it gets stuck with Slick, I'm not sure what, if any, kind of personality it should have.
>>
>>84377372
"Aaah - that's rather nice!"

Gotta do it, gotta do that, need to do that when I get to Slick first overcoming the monster's will when it fuses with him after being beaten.
>>
>>84453690
So we have her fight nosefire and also Bombastic in the hangers early on
Her first lead could be this this lab and Bombastic joins her for reasons mentioned presumable up in this thread.
She could even get two leads at the hanger fights and decide to follow up on the lab first before tracking down Ma'am since the lab is stationary and she doesn't know where Ma'am is.
>>
>>84456228
>Slick is Hexxus Luthor
I dig it.
>>
>>84455358
Personally I'm torn between whether Slick should be more smarmy and seemingly agreeable, and able to ruse the more gullible/optimistic members of the team into thinking he's alright, or if he should be gratingly obnoxious right off the bat. The former comes off more as someone ambitious with good business sense but the latter is like someone who already thinks they're on top of the world and doesn't need to answer to anyone.
>>
>>84457466
I'm more partial tot he ladder than the former.

I kind of want him to be an ass, like a playful ass, but still an ass who only looks out for number 1. I just want to do an openly selfish character for once.

Should he have know he was dealing with haunted oil and just not cared?
>>
>>84457722
Depends. Maybe the tip he got about there being oil there was someone with arcane interests, who knew the oil monster was there and intended to unleash it.

I imagine once Slick works this out he'd be out for gristly revenge about this person. Not for getting him inked but for the hit his company took on that oil platform.
>>
>>84458164
That's a nice angle.

Who could've known about haunted oil and set Slick up like that?

Would Slick have an arc about trying to take revenge, or would the "Bomb arc" be about him trying to make disposable super soldiers to take revenge for him?
>>
>>84458224
Do we have anyone who deals with that kind of thing? A Coccult villain maybe?

Moreover, do we have anyone disposable enough for Slick to revenge-kill, or at least soundly defeat and bring to heel? That would be a good way to sell Slick's debut into supervillainry.
>>
>>84458316
Arcane villains are somewhat rare in this setting it seems.

I don't want Clockwork Prophet to have any hand in this, though he could later if he ever wants lube.

I don't like making up villains on the spot when we need someone disposable since it feels like a disservice to characters we already have just waiting to be used, but there aren't many options when it comes to magic baddies who would want an ancient evil released like this.
>>
>>84458413
If we're going for someone disposable, making them up might be best. Or maybe this is a good opportunity to trawl the old throwaway Justice /co/mrades and Sageworthies that don't really fit the setting anymore.
>>
>>84455470
Really? Other sites talk about our characters?
Or is it people from these threads talking about the characters on other sites?

That's such a foreign concept to me.
>>
>>84458525
Fetish communities are always digging for new sources of their fetish material. GG is explicitly fetish oriented enough to be worthy of note.
>>
>>84458477
Just went through a lot of the pages on the OLD wiki, none of the villains seem to have magical backgrounds and none of the heroes that weren't carried over seem to have anything that could link them to this.

Do we have any fortune tellers?

Maybe a cyber character could've planted some information in Slick's computer like a false survey that showed oil there? But then where would the cyber character have gotten that info... that just makes the rabbit hole deeper than it needs to be.
>>
>>84458707
Man, there REALLY used to be a stigma against magic characters. Wonder why.
>>
>>84458872
Probably because there was some kind of bullshit happening in the industry back then that made /co/ really hate magic in cape comics.

We can tuck the idea away of Slick wanting revenge on someone for now. What's going on with the oil monster? Because I don't know what it should be like before it merges with Slick.
>>
>>84458980
Well, if we settle on the arcane route it can take some sort of mythical form. Maybe it's crude oil formed from the corpse of a dragon, or something. Or a leviathan, or a big damn fish.
>>
If the thread is still up tomorrow I guess I'll keep talking about these AC(oSF) plots that I've been coming up with.

Really, I just wanted to come up with something structured.
>>
>>84459484
It would be something huge if all that oil was made from the corpse of a single decomposed trapped entity.

Like a super dragon from the times where magical things could get huge on all the magic in the air.
>>
>>84459541
Alternately it could be some sort of mass grave of merely rather large things, which would give it a freaky Legion-esque thing going on.
>>
>>84452890
We never did get her adventure with Tats, where Tats has to prove she's not a commie infiltrator.
