Not many, I'll happily admit that. I've only been on /co/ ~5 years and the various project drawthreads never really interested me until recently-ish.
The difference between [whatever]tans and /ctg/ is that the former sticks to a (usually) limited pool and then develops on that, whereas /ctg/ spergs out and churns out metric shitloads of irrelevant tans that will never get any development what so ever.

>The dark creature crawls towards Redstone and soon it's at his feet
>Redstone looks at the creature, he can already feel its power emanating from him
>"Rise and let me see your face." Redstone says
>The dark figure disjointedly rises to its feet
>The new Viacom is taller than Redstone, his body is that of a human male at peak performance(fully equipped too), new muscles twitch and writh under purple/black skin
>The most noticable thing though is Viacom's face, the face that Redstone has to look up at now
>The eyes are now just bright spectacles that seem to hypnotize and his mouth is full of sharp teeth and inhuman as ever
>Redstone is so happy that it worked
>But before he's ready to leave with the new and improved Viacom, he asks it
>"Who am I, Viacom?"
>Then Viacom talks, his voice is deeper than the Marianas Trench and as monotonous as a machine's
