If Slott can gets his hands into Civil War 2 or the new Death of X he should have Kitty come back from space. Seeing mutants literally dieing to a cloud of gas triggers her jewish shoah fear factor. After seeing X-Men defending the gas because they want to be PC and somehow not offend the Inhumans while her people are being gassed out of existence causes her to think that Magneto in the right after all this Inhuman bullshit. She tries to destroy the terrigen cloud but X-Apologists and Inhumans intervene and she gets herself and Magneto terror gassed.

Maybe. They haven't made it clear if it can affect people who have powers derived from mutants (like Deadpool or Tiger Shark) but aren't mutants themselves.
