>Nailbiter
Revolves around a town that has produced several of America's deadliest serial killers. It's kind of like Twin Peaks meets a Slasher movie meets Silence of the Lambs
Try Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Afterlife with Archie.

>Severed
Old man tells the story of when he crossed paths with a serial killer

Alan Moore's Swamp Thing
Man-Thing v1

>Strange Embrace
The bizarre tragedy of a family and their relations with a man with psychic powers.

Not very scary, more grotesque, are the New 52 runs on Animal Man and Swamp Thing.
Animal Man is dude with animal powers trying to protect his family (specifically his daughter) from evil zombie-makers.
Swamp Thing is a plant that thinks it's a man that thinks it's a plant that thinks it's a man is trying to save the world and his hot girlfriend from those same evil zombie-makers.
The current Marvel Vision book is a different kind of horror. It's kind of like an impending doom sort of thing, think maybe Stepford Wives kind of horror rather than slasher.
Also Providence is one of the better Lovecraftian comics out there.

>The Wake
Group of scientists discover a mermaid. Shit happens.Second half is more science fantasy than anything, and not as good, but i recommend it overall
>American Vampire
An aspiring actress meets a new kind of vampire during the early Hollywood years. Snyder's best work IMO. First arc got a backstory by Stephen King.
>Through the Woods
Collection of short stories.
>Crossed: Wish You Were HereTale of post-apocalyptic survival told from the perspective of a young british writer. Crossed is infamous for being edgy as fuck, and this is guilty of it sometimes, but in the end it is a quite good zombie story.
>Ferals
Werewolves and stuff. Doesn't look like we'll have a conclusion though.
Beautiful Darkness manages to be adorable and immensely creepy at the same time, and feels more grotesque than it looks. Warning: DO NOT READ if you need closure or don't like unanswered questions.
