This is a surprisingly weak character design, which is surprising given how good the design for the cast of the show from the gems to the townies generally tends to be. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, but there's way too much going on between the hair, the outfit, and the little tattoos on the arms. It's overly complex and garish in a way the other peripheral gems aren't.
It's more the outfit than the hair, honestly. I feel like the skin tone and the hair work fine together, but something about the colors and general design of the outfit are off In a way I can't put my finger on. I'm sure she's a fun character though, so it might grow on me.
