>Nugan Hand Bank... Now, that's a name I've not heard in a long time. A long time.

Hand got found by the Oz media at the start of this year, living in Colorado under an assumed name.
He denied any wrong doing, claimed only passing involvement in a bank that shared his name lulz.

tl;dr - what did the CIA do with the money they made running heroin in the Golden Triangle during the Vietnam War? Laundered it through a shonky bank in Australia, Nugan Hand Bank. Founded by an Australian shyster (Frank Nugan) and a Green Beret (Michael Hand), it had more CIA officers, army and air force generals and navy admirals and special forces operators working in it to run a small war. And none of them had much experience in financial services. Starting with almost no assets it grew into a 50 million dollar bank whose only services seemed to be providing Australians with tax doges for foreign assets and founding branch offices in such financial hotspots as Vientin and Chiangmai, as well as of course WACL member nations. It colapsed in 1981 when Nugan shot himself with a .22 rifle, he was under investigation for his family food canning business having connections to NSW weed farming in Griffith, leaving tens of millions in official debts and who knows how much in debts people would break the law in admitting too. Hand left the country on a fake I.D. on a flight to the Philippines and there was no record of him arriving.
Supposedly ASIO knew of his wearabouts not long after, doing mercenary work in Central America.
And in 1990 the Canberra Times found a PO Box in his name in a town in Washington state his wife was living in.

Interesting post script to Edwin Wilson: in 2006 he was acquitted.
He finally got a new trial, with a new lawyer who was ex CIA (!) and so therefore had security clearance to see classified documents.
And they were able to demonstrate that Wilsons had continued to work for the CIA after his transfer to Naval Intelligence and from there after his retirement, that they had full knowledge of and directed his sales. Just as he had always maintained during his original trial.
They further demonstrated that the original prosecution knew this and suppressed it. He was acquitted and released and spent the last 6 years a free man.
His accomplice Frank Turpil is still in exile in Cuba.

CIA Case Officers
>Victor Marchetti: The CIA And the Cult of Intelligence
>Philip Agee: Inside The Company
Agee is notorious for his efforts to disrupt the CIA after he became disillusioned and quit, he decided to make a proactive effort at stopping its illegitimate activities by outing agents across the world which technically was not illegal at first.
The laws introduced to stop him would later be put to the test when the Bush administration outed Valerie Plame to punish her Husband.
>Frank Snepp: Decent Interval
>Ralph McGehee: Deadly Deceit
>John Stockwell: In Search of Enemies
>Chalmers Johnson: Blowback
>Melvin A. Goodman: Failure of Intelligence
Not a person but a group, Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity founded by Ray McGovern have also put out a lot of material and McGoverns interviews are good.

Further Books
>Bob Woodward: Veil: The Secret Wars of the CIA
>John Kerry: The Kerry Committee Report
This man used to have a spine? Who knew.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerry_Committee_report
>Bob Parry: Lost History: Contras, Cocaine, The Press & Project Truth
Parry broke Iran-Contra in the American press, here he expands on his originals reports and the medias denial of it right up until it became irrefutable
He was progressively pushed out of the mainstream media once he broke that story til he was only on PBS by the early 1990s.
He founded the first online news journal Consortium News in 1995 and is still going strong.
>Lawrence E. Walsh: Firewall: The Iran-Contra Conspiracy and Cover-Up

>Douglas Valentine: The Phoenix Program
