I think the last time we had comic books costumes was the Heroic Age. Then the movie costumes started to leak in, SJWs demanded women get covered up, and the bad costumes were no longer contained to the Ultimate Universe once it went away.
Hopefully by the 2020s. It seems every decade is either a good or bad year for comics.

1960s: Good
1970s: Eh
1980s: Good
1990s: Eh
2000s: Pretty good

He doesn't really need a mask nowadays. Everyone know his identity, and those who don't, don't remember him. I like the glasses thing, but not any of the ones he has had until now. They're ugly as fuck and don't serve any purpose. At least, keep them out of view when it's nighttime or indoors, damn! Also, his clothing needs more purple.
I like current caron costume, but her haircut is silly and almost ugly most of the times.

Wrong. The mask is great. It doesn't matter if he has a secret identity. Masks are an essential part of many comic book characters as well as fancy costumes. Without them you just have a dumb sci-fi network show.
