Judy's arc was the best part of the movie but it still felt off to me. Like the writers couldn't decide whether Judy's first beau was a guy who had just asked her out or someone she had been seeing for a long time.
I got both impressions at different points. I don't think it's just the character overvaluing the importance of being asked out once.
