Hi again, /co/. Let's get back into Infinite Crisis!
Here's the Countdown storytime from yesterday:
>>84284916
Now it's time for Day of Vengeance. If you're a fan of DC magic characters, including Detective Chimp, get in here!
I like Ragman. Wish he was in more stuff.
>>84303058
>>84303088
I remember this being my first exposure to Ragman. He's really cool. I hope he shows up in the DCEU or in Justice League Action. That would be great.
One of my favorite pages.
>>84303309
"No one that powerful is one of the good guys"
"If there's even a 1% chance that he is our enemy..."
>>84303450
>>84303490
These two pages are great
>>84303743
I didn't like this. Ugh. Am I the only one reading?
>>84303965
I remember liking it. It is a little dumb that the Spectre was tricked so easily but I like the focus on more obscure magic characters and the Captain Marvel stuff.

im reading

Sorry I meant that particular page I was responding to. The thing as a whole is amazing, with only a few dumb aspects.

>It is a little dumb that the Spectre was tricked so easily
Remember , magic characters are bound by the stuff of legends, Batman and Constantine have a better chance of tricking a god than superman to but hit it untill it quits.

Apologies. Missed page 21. Here it is.
Time for Detective Chimp's secret origin.
Unf...
Alright that's #4 of 6. I'm going to go grab some lunch. Be back in a little bit.

>hooker
Pot calling the kettle black, kid.
And we're back.
Poor Billy...
RIP Magic
And that's Day of Vengeance. Next up: The O.M.A.C. Project.
Thanks for posting, always liked IC and the various lead-in minis.
Villains United is probably my fave

The O.M.A.C. Project; or "Requiem for a Rocket Red"
When I was getting back into comics I bought the Infinite Crisis Omnibus just to get a large sampling of what the DCU was like, and although the event itself is classic Johns mediocrity (maybe even worse) the tie ins are fantastic. They are great examples of the vastness and richness of the DCU and the practically infinite potential to tell unique stories, I still can't believe they are still continuing to sever ties with it.
>>84307742
I'm hoping they try to bring some of it back with Rebirth. They probably won't but who knows.
>>84307818
The fact that they didn't take the opportunity to implement some form of Hypertime and are just continuing down the dismal path the set forth in the New 52 does not bode well, but maybe they'll run out of their own feet to shoot when Rebirth inevitably cools off and people realize there is still a severe lack of substance and creative direction at the company.

My favorite thing about these minis is that aside from O.M.A.C., they're mostly about lesser known characters finally getting to do stuff. I'm not sure if we're in a time where DC is willing to give weirder stuff a try.
OP here. Posting is getting slow. How do you know when you've hit the image limit? Not sure if it's the site or if it's me.
>>84308418
Image limit is 250 famalam
>>84308588
Good to know. Must have been my internet.
Honestly, who isn't Batman fucking?
Unfortunately for The O.M.A.C. Project, the key event happens in books I don't have digitally. Needless to say (and since we mostly already know), Wonder Woman snaps Maxwell Lord's neck in order to stop him from controlling a mind-controlled Superman. Here's what happens after that...
Taking a short break. Will be back.

And back to it.
