Absolutely. We've taken nuclear reactor safety too seriously for too long.
I learned all my obscure 80s phrases from bloom county despite not living in the era.
I didn't understand a lot of the references back when I read it but I still consider it to be one of the funniest and smartest serialised comics I've ever read.
I like how it keeps the commentary and adult nature of Doonesbury without it being too unapproachable... like Doonesbury.
