It took almost three months without fresh blood to make this threads experience brain death, we shoud have mercy and disconect this suffering vegetal of a thread and end its pain, all left is davekat and nepkat spamers, no more updates to disscus and the epiloge is just nevee hapening as well as hiveswap. With the terror of last thread over I went back and refreshed my memory of the A6I5 to Game Over parts of the comic to see what all the hullabaloo was about. What stood out to me was just how enjoyable it still was, even with some of the potential deterrents like the evil Jade and Jane, John popping in and out of scenes, Pacifist Dave, the useless Seers etc.
But to get to the point, it could have been the perfect point in the comic to extend, delay Game Over and use that time before shit goes seriously wrong to develop characters who desperately need developing and were setup in doing so, Jane being the example in question here.
Had the discovery of the Juju been delayed over this time period; with John popping in and out of sleep to help find the JuJu and trying to fix the artifacts by developing his wind powers (given he can just do it after his encounter with Jack, but he needs something to do). By doing this and perhaps altering the time line of some events like the evil ladies there would have been perfect setup for some solid development.
A lot of these development topics are brought up during this stretch and then never touched on again. For example: Dave's refusal to fight or use Time powers, Rose's alcohol issues and feelings of uselessness, Kanaya's Matriorb concerns, Karkat's anything, Jade's relationship and anger issue, Terezi's eyesight and Gamzee issues, Jake's issues with self confidence and feeling used etc. But once they're mentioned the scene shifts to John and his retcon jumps and the plot advances full speed onward to Game Over.
tl;dr - Delay Game Over, change some timeline events around or delay them so the actual main cast can sort their issues out before the crunch time begins. Including Jane and her clear issues with suppressing her real emotions in favor of appearances, confronting these mixed feelings with a Nannasprite and then promising to openly confront her friends when she can to make peace and clear the air.

SBURB was great for worldbuilding, give us some modular mechanics and play with them in interesting ways, but don't follow the formula at some points so we're on the edge of what's expected, Noir was a perfect catastrophe moment, didn't need any more than that.
I'm hoping for a Skaianet handbook annotated by grandpa or something to be released on the WP store at some point, give us some information on things that have been kept ambiguous about SBURB in general (even classpects maybe?). but with Hiveswap being about trolls and the majority of the fanbase crazy about trolls it's doubtful SBURB will come back again desu.
