There's many people who say that Hitler wasn't the problem, his followers (the "Authoritarian Followers") are the problem. It's been a researched topic since shortly after he was beaten. Uber is great, and i think it is exatly what OP is looking for.
The Nazis are still shown as the assholes they were, but since alot of the story is from the viewpoint of the Nazi Ubermenschen, you kind of sympatise with them after a while.
