What's your deal?
>>
I wish other comics posted as quick as Aaron does. Shame I dont like this arc at all.
>>
>>84220382
So, I want to know your thoughts on mutants like Cooper, and if their mutation changes depending on what they're "recreationally self-medicating" with, like someone on a hallucinogen would look like some sort of Cats from Saturn shit or is everyone like Cooper? Also are they bloby fish men like Cooper or is it like the RPG says where it is a combination of 2 species?
>>
>>84220717
What's wrong with it? Tired of Holly and Wally?
>>
>>84220736
It's a mix between anthro animal and a bit of "eat beast" or whatever you call them.
>>
>>84220857

Man, it is a couple of things. Like, flash backs are my all time favorite thing. Best trope in my opinion. But for this one...I just dont care. And I dont even know why.

I used to love Holly. But over the course of the last 2 arcs, she has been insufferable.

Im totally cool with wally, though.
>>
Why do people want nude raccoons?
>>
>>84220857

Holly's getting redeemed, anon is getting triggered over wally eventually picking Holly over kirbee.
>>

>>84220944
That's incredibly vague. So you basically dislike it because Holly is in focus?
>>
>>84221013

>>
>>84221023
I dunno, seems kinda random to me. I was hoping for a reason.
>>
>>84221091
>Don't start.

it's true though, are you seriously implying Holly has done nothing wrong?
>>
>>84221091
>That's incredibly vague. So you basically dislike it because Holly is in focus?

Let me try to explain it better. When you were young, did you ever buy sea monkeys? You know those little creatures you put in water and they seemingly come alive for a couple of days and it is super fun until 90% of them die all of a sudden?

It is like that. Holly was an amazing sea monkey, but to me just dies after a few arcs. She is either out of character, or the character she is becoming is bad.

Where is my happy holly? Where is my jolly holly? This emotional baggage holly needs to fix herself, or die. Those are the only two outcomes.
>>
>>84221155
>Where is my happy holly? Where is my jolly holly?

She's dead, she died during the milk trial and no amount of flashbacks are going to bring her back,
>>
>>84221207

And that is my biggest problem with her. I like Wally, but he is going to be miserable because of her. She is fucking selfish now and killing the group.
>>
>>84221155
For the Nth time, she is showing her true character. She was always like this and there were hints since the bening.

If you don't like it that's too bad but don't say it came out of nowhere.
>>
>>84221352
>If you don't like it that's too bad but don't say it came out of nowhere.

It did come out of nowhere. This whole baby thing came out of nowhere. Before it was just cuz of schism disorder. This is an entirely different thing. Dont tell me it is the same, because it is not.
>>
>>84221381
Then you haven't been paying attention and you only have yourself to blame.

You've got it backwards. The kindhearted woman Wally met is the real Holly.

The reason she's been acting the way she has is because she's been having a mental breakdown.

She saved Wally's life once, now hopefully he can do the same for her, and remember why he loved her to begin with.
>>
>>84223053

>kindhearted woman

human holly was everything but kindhearted
>>
>>84221252
>>84222265
>She is fucking selfish now and killing the group
>selfish, self centered, brat...
Why she's selfish? Because she didn't want to remember all the shit that happen to her? Because she didn't want to let behind Clive, even when he was a danger for the group? Because she wanted to start a new life helping others to compensate all the bad elections of her past life? Even in her past life, the fact that she bought into the buddibomb shit was because she wanted to protect her family. And don't get me wrong, her elections were bad? Yes, but that doesn't make her a monster she just made mistake like every other human, Those mistakes cost human lives? Yes, but she didn't want that to happen.

So far Maude seems to be the only one that is actually happy with her mutation and actually gets upset when others don't accept her as a cow. Everyone else has it the other way around, why is Maude different?

Here she says that it makes her feel useful but is that because of her personality or just her cow instincts giving her this need and making her enjoy it?
>>
>>84223587
Both, probably.
>>
>>84223587

Some people know how to deal with a bad situation. Maude's husband seemed to help her comes to term with who and what she is. And his love for her reinforced it. Gustine went through the same thing, and looks like she has learned to deal with and accept being a rhino. Mostly due to Al.

Aaron was bothered twice about it. There's also the more recent e-mails that take it for granted. He could have disproven it by now too.

I'm trying that and other stuff in the archives. I lost a bunch of files including most of my Entown stuff, sadly. Like this, though the person didn't believe in "I/Eye" probably isn't here anymore.

>>84230177
I recall people asking him about realistic animal instincts recently (which he said no to and vouchsafed that everything was cartoon stereotypes), not so much anything that assumed animal equipment, and his most recent answer up there sounds like he doesn't even think about it to me. Sorry for being sceptical, but I wasn't around to see those emails if they ever did exist, and nobody seems to be able to produce them.

Anyway, I'll just wait and see what you turn up, then. Thanks for looking.

>>
>>84233039
You say it like it was that easy
>>
>>84233085

Yeah because you know, Holly already let it all go. She even said that. All that time on the tower, and she was able to move on. Now she is back to square one.

Do you see why I am angry and dont like her? This isnt just a knee jerk reaction. I truly think she regressed as a character. Instead of being strong, she is back to being weak. She is no longer the beacon of hope for wally nor the rest of the people. She is dead to me.
>>
>>84233153
Do you give up on your loved ones this easily?
>>
>>84233153
>Holly already let it all go
Except she isn't? She just buried all in the past and call it a day
>She even said that
And Sarah said that she loved Jim
>Now she is back to square one
Because she never let it go, she just decide to start over with a new life and when the memories of her past life came back, she didn't know what to do.
>I truly think she regressed as a character
How? Because now we can see that the perfect Holly has actually problems and defects? For me her character is evolving, now is more deeper than "person who helps everyone"
>Instead of being strong, she is back to being weak
Again, What's wrong with showing the defects and debilities of a character?
>She is no longer the beacon of hope
And she was never intented to be that, what did you expect? The comic version of Jesus? This is Endtown mate.
>>
>>84233153
If you have never lost anyone you loved, its understandable you have no idea how it feels and how it stays with you.

>>
>>84233039
That is a bit harder to apply when there is nothing but dust left for those who are ready to live "a good life"
>>
>>84233352

>>84233625

Anon, the whole point of this arc is to show that Holly has NOT recovered, that she has NOT forgotten and moved on... that she loved her family very much and losing them so suddenly has left the deepest scars.

She was never a "beacon of hope", you must have applied that to her yourself.

I'm pretty sure that there's at least one baiter in these threads sometimes posting as a Hollyfag sometimes as a Kirbeefag, even in the waifuwars you could notice that the one starting the shit it was always the same person.
>>
>>84236316
>it's just a few retards who stir up shit by insulting Holly

i've seen people trying to stir shit up by insulting kirbee too, good thing kirbeefags have learned painfully not to take the bait by now.
>>
>>84236429
actually, kirbeefags are a lot more easy to trigger. Most hollyfags are really just kirbeefags trying to stir up shit.
>>
>>84236743
>actually, kirbeefags are a lot more easy to trigger.

they are, but it is hollyfags who have been constantly triggered the past few threads
>>
>>84236743
What? Shit, now I really confused. If Hollyfags were Kirbeefags all this time does that means that the Jimfags were actually Sarahfags?
>>
>>84236789
OY VEY, THE GOYIM KNOW TOO MUCH
SHUT IT DOWN
>>
>>84236763
Duh, this arc is centered around her

>>84236804
I knowed that the Jews have something to do with this
>>
>>84236789
Jimfags know that they have the superior choice, so they don't bother arguing for others.

you remember way back when there were a few anons actually defending Sarah's actions? Right around this update.

They are the same anons.
>>
>>84236316
>who stir up shit by insulting Holly
Complaining about a character with evidence is not "trying to stir shit up"
>>
>>84236843
What about the Wallyfags? If there is
>>
>>84236789
There are Sarahfags?
>>
>>84236743

really? i didn't see a single kirbeefag triggered by the bait this anon >>84236237 is referring to...
>>
>>84236872
Wallyfags and Jimfags should be righteously smug and hang out with each other.
>>
>>84236866
I think he's talking about the idiots who only post "Holly is shit" without argumenting why
>>
>>84236921
What about fox Marx fags
>>
>>84236931

Ah, gottcha
>>
>>84236931

i literally haven't seen that happen in a long time.
>>
>>84236846
Wait wait, people defended Sarah?
>>
>>84236976

in gogomics everyone defended sarah.
>>
>>84236948
They should be ashamed by liking Marx even If he's the only good version of him, but they can feel more smug than Wallyfags because he got more solo lewds than Wally.
>>
>>84237003

How? That just boggles my mind. He gave everything for her.

Whatever. The demographic this comic brings is shit anyways.
>>
>>84236948
As long as they refer to him as Farx or Faux, and denounce Marx.
>>
>>84236866
>Complaining about a character with evidence is not

evidence or not, complaining about a waifu is reason enough to trigger anons over here.
>>
>>84237045

It blows my mind that people cannot be objective. Furfags really are out of touch with reality
>>
>>84237034

what do you expect? the gocomics crowd is breaindead retarded.

Yes, even in these threads but they were just memers

>>

fucking sarah is still at large though... ill be very pissed if she ends up killing a party member.
>>
>>84233953
I've suspected for a while that Marx is Endtown's "suck sink".

It works like so: Endtown is *technically* a strictly average webcomic. However, because Marx attracts and concentrates all the mediocrity, poor writing decisions and suckiness of the average webcomic into himself like some sort of talent black hole, the rest of the comic has almost none of that and is therefore god-tier.

Since Marx is only present a minority of the time, this means the majority of the time the comic is awesome and only dips into crapsville whenever he turns up. He's like some kind of inverse lucky charm that only works when you're *not* carrying it.
>>
>>84237256
>>84237259
>Sarah escaped

Oh, fuck. Guess I need to reread that part. Thanks for the heads up.
>>
>>84237259
Nah, I don't think she will appear that soon, she will back after planning her vengance for a long time.
>>
>>84237266

Nah. The first time Marx showed up was because aaron wrote himself into a corner. The story was great during that part.
>>
>>84237311
she's literally stranded alone in the wastes, she has no where to go... she has to be nearby.
>>
>>84237317
Oh, I never said Aaron intended Marx to be the comic's "suck sink", it just worked out that way.
>>
>>84237327
>Gets caught
>Used as an appliance

That works too. I just want her to meet the worst kind of end, and I think that is it.
>>
>>84237349

good things never happen in this comic anon...
>>
>>84237317
You know something? I don't mind Marx that much but sweet mercy of god, his introduction is just a fucking disaster and also a deux machina, I don't know why he though that it was a good idea.
>>
>>84237365

Yes they do. Small things, here and there. Good things do happen.
>>
>>84237367
He'd gone too long without writing the character. I don't mean he was out of practise, I mean he'd gone so long without writing Marx being Marx that he could no longer hold off and just... splurged.
>>
>>84237367
as >>84237266 and
>>84233953 have stated, Marx is like the fuel filter on Aaron's creative stream. All that gunk he can't really work into his characters works with the one character who does not have to suffer the consequences.
>>
>>84237403
But Sarah dying? No, at least not yet, she has to still make the live of the protagonists miserable

Well, Her story is already over, unless she appears again there's nothing to say about her right now.

I believe Aaron said that she will appear again some time.

It's fucking unfair. Many other characters deserved a good ending over her. She was a monster and didn't regret anything she did.

I'll never forgive her for this.
>>
>>84239203

Sorry, but insubordination has absolutely no place in a place such as endtown. That can cost lives.

What flask did was harsh, but necessary
>>
>>84239233
Are you serious?

>>84239249

Yes. I am sorry, and it is probably my past and how I was raised, but I pretty much agreed with everything Flask did during her arc. Like, seriously, I think Flask is a great character.

This.
>>
>>84239387

Do not fucking lump Flask with that whore.
>>
>>84239387

One did things for the greater good of endtown, one did everything for herself.

The fuck thinking with that picture.
>>
>>84239279
I'm probably taking the bait but you do know that the story presents everything she did as excessive and unreasonable, right? As Marx put it, those ideas were a "cancer" that destroyed her life.

This should be a wake up call for you and anyone else who thinks like that.
>>
>>84239461
>>84239531

Obviously none of you fags can handle a strong independent woman.
>>
>>84239569

First of all, no. I truly do like Flask.

Secondly, who the fuck cares if it is excessive. The only way endtown survives is killing ALL of the topsiders. That is what Flask was trying to do.

None of this saving them shit that the other characters do. They need to be exterminated. It is a us v them thing. There is no coexistence.

Plus, the things they did to Flask and her lover were despicable. If you can't see the reason for her rage, then you may have problems with understanding emotion.

>>84239585

>>84239461
Nothing wrong
>>
>>84239531
Flask did jack shit for Endtown, all she cared was about was her revenge. Petey spelled this out for you! "Keeping Endtown safe" was just the excuse she used but everyone could tell she was just a sadistic monster after actually seeing her work.
>>
>>84239687

Im done talking about this. In my mind, Flask is more of a hero then a monster. You dont see it like that so what does it matter.
>>
>>84239659
>Obvious bait

well duuuh
>>
>>84239687
>Flask did jack shit for Endtown

Except the second she left being a security chief, all hell broke loose with the rats. Yeah, sure buddy.
>>
>>84239659
Killing topsiders is one thing, killing the people she was meant to protect when not necessary is downright evil.
>>
>>84239531
It's too late.
They lesbian now.
>>
>>84239735
>killing the people she was meant to protect

Except they lost that right when they disobeyed orders which could have harmed Endtown even more through leaking of information.
>>
>>84239729
It was _orchestrated_ by Jacob and MARX.

>>84239756
All the evidence was against it, she just wanted to kill people. She only stopped because after finding Petey it wasn't fun anymore.
>>
>>84239843
>It was _orchestrated_ by Jacob and MARX.

Pretty sure Flask would have killed one of the two if she found out about it thus quelling the rebellion.
>>
>>84239882
Wouldn't she want Jack in power for his anti-Topsider rhetoric?
>>
>>84239949
Yeah, actually that wasn't the reason why she choose Jack as one of the judges in the trail against Al and Gustine? Because he hated the topsiders?
>>
>>84226285
waaait
so, is cuba still spain's
as in, 1898 never happened?
>>
>>84239949
>>84240002
In other words, she would have made things even easier for him. Probably killing the rats who witnessed Jacob's talk with Allgood too.
>>
>>84240130
At this way we will need a complete Atlas of the Endtown world
>>
>>84240154
>implying that Marx didn't let the rats to live because they would be useful for him later
>>
>>84240217

>>
>>84240255
Boxing battle between Marx and "I" when?
>>
>>84240271

never hopefully
>>
>>84240255
Sadly, according to Aaron, I is the big bad and everything Marx does is necessary to stop it. >"For the greater good."
>>
>>84240154
How is that a good thing, though?
Jack's not a good guy.
>>
>>84240427
He never said that it was good
>>
>>84240427
Flask was not good either.
>>
>>84240154
>>84240002

That is not true at all. You are overlooking many key factors of why she USED him.
>>
>>84240542
Ok, explain them, because I actually don't remember the real reason for using Jacob. And now that we're talking about that, why she wanted so bad to condemn Al and Gustine?
>>
>>84240542
Which are?
>>
>>84240584
>why she wanted so bad to condemn Al and Gustine?
She just wanted to and didn't care who she had to use or kill for it. It was her way of dealing with the impotency of not being to kill actual topsiders. Then she learned that Petey wanted them alive and had to stop for his sake.
>>
>>84240668
So bloodlust?
>>
>>84240701

No. She hated the fact they let the sworn enemy of endtown, the guys who want them all to die, live.
>>
>>84240701
Pretty much.
>>
>>84240716
But Al and Gustine killed some topsiders in their way to Endtown
>>
>>84240584
>>84240668

Hey retards. They were on trial because they brought topsiders to endtown. Then the topsiders tried to blow up endtown.

Do you not think that is a normal reaction?! To try and get people behind bars? To Flask, these fucks just brought their enemy to their main base, but because the two are politically connected, they try to get away with it.

It makes purrfect sense why Flask wanted them behind bars.
>>
>>84240868
She didn't want them behind bars, she wanted them DEAD. Also, the Oracle itself was saying that her theory was bullshit.
>>
>>84240868

>purrfect
>>
>>84240972

Good! Wanting them dead is a normal fucking reaction for the almost destruction of their entire way of life/people/everything.

And fuck the 'oracle'. That is some bullshit in itself.
