My own headcanon is that she's a porcelain/ceramic doll. Her structure, on the whole, has something of an 'artificial' feel to it compared to the other humanoid denizens of the manor.
Hence, why she's a cyborg here.

It's hard to think of Booboo as close to the characters as they are with each other. He haunts in the mansion, just like Mr.White and Mr.White. It's kind of telling when he doesn't appear in the musical episodes at all, not even in the last group shot when they were singing about family.
Maybe the Ghost family are like their spirit world neighbors, and Booboo had made good friends with them?
And I hear that a lot about SB. I think he's misunderstood though. He's intentionally flawed. I can see how his gag can get old, but it's usually entertaining to me
