Nah, that's why the characters are named as they are in Legendary Defender. Every character got renamed to be localized ala Robotech, and Shiro retains his GoLion name more or less as a reference just cause Voltron and GoLion at this point are two entities owned by two seperate companies. (something that unfortunately cannot be said about Robotech's case)

I really liked Allura going crazy and trying to kill the paladins with the whole "LET FEAR BE YOUR GUIDE!" and I liked that they had more fights out of the lions without it seeming forced in the castle under siege episodes.
Also I like how they keep talking about how strong Voltron is even though it gets beat up by the different monsters, but every now and then you see something that reminds you that Voltron IS badass, it's just the pilots skill level that is too low still.
