I mean yeah, kind of. Being a superhero should have a pretty high mortality rate.
telepaths and especially reality warpers are much worse. they make interesting antagonists in theory, but how exactly do you beat them without it seeming like a total asspull? and there's several examples of characters with these powers who are " heroic good guys" in a very loose definition of the words heroic and good
