Other than Harry and Aunt May, to a lesser extent, MJ, this is too true. I like the stories and most of the characters getting focused now, but since I fell in love with the show in Season 1, I'm seriously aching from the lack of Sam, Danny, Luke, and Ava. It's a real 180 for me, and I wish they'd get more screentime, or at least more lines that properly acknowledge and respect them being Spidey's teammates and friends first.
As a matter of fact, Sam is still missing his origin story.

It's actually hilarious how much they have to be going out of their way to not show them off. Aunt May has a birthday and the ONLY people to show up are the Spiders.
Danny is an absolute asshole, who would leave a pregnant woman (injured, also, mind you) and the baby of his best friend at the mercy of Hydra. He is also a terrible example to Luke, dragging him away from his family constantly. AND he eats our food all the time. What a fucking cockgobbler.

He and Ava did have voiceless cameos in the Madam Web episode that aired this past Sunday. There only in the beginning and end, both were relaxing in their beach wear, and both didn't say a peep (Danny grunted once when he punted a beach ball, but I pretty sure that wasn't his voice). Luke, who's role was just as "large" as Ava and Danny's, was surprisingly chatty by comparison.

Yeah, as sweet as that scene was, the blatant ignorance of Pete's "other friends" really dragged that part of the episode down for me. Especially when Aunt May says to Peter that "you found some good friends", or something to that effect, as if 4 of Peter's "other friends" hadn't been staying with Aunt May for an extended period of time or whatever.Flash being there is salt on the wounds.
You can tell that this is a side effect of the new people in charge of the 3rd and 4th Seasons. They want to tell their own stories, and while they are enjoyable, they come with the cost of "re-writing" what came before, even if in a broad fashion. It doesn't seem like a problem at first, but then you have little big inconsistent moments like the aforementioned.Someone there may also not be the biggest fans of Pete's old crew, which is why they've been phased out for the most part in exchange for the Spider related characters.The good side to that is that they've kept with the general spirit of the show of mixing up the expected. and now somewhat cliche, by making Cho Iron Spider and making Scarlet a composite character, just like Harry being Venom early on.

The only thing about this is that pretty much none of the "Main Heroes" really got any screen-time or focus.
