I like it. It's a well done show that offers up good laughs and fun characters. It's nothing too grandscale, but it doesn't try to be, which makes it sort of refreshing, though not to sing too high of its praises.
Its a very good show with the potential to be great. The characters are all very likeable and, with a little more development, could become iconic even. Note that im not talking about drama, just a little more content to the characters. Overall, its a modern cartoon with an early 00' feel, and thats refreshing and even assuring that nick is trying to bring back the quality it once had.

I'd say the animation feels slightly different from actual early 2000's cartoons, but otherwise it feels remarkably early 2000's in art direction and writing.
Supposedly nostalgia operates on a 20 year cycle, so while a little early this show might be the start of a 2000's nostalgia era (there's a theory nostalgia increases with economic woes, so it makes sense millennials would jump the gun).It better fucking stay contained to the early 2000's I swear to god.
I think the morals of "inclusivity is better than exclusivity" and "don't lie" are used too often. I mean, those can make good episodes but if Lincoln keeps making the same mistakes in a different flavor, it just makes him look retarded.

It's a cartoon and not a glorified lore-hole. For that alone I commend it, and for the most part enjoy its ultra-comfy nature. Not every episode is amazing or even great, but most are at least good and entertaining.
Hoping season 2 explores more of the characters' personalities past their interests, though. A big reason Leni is so popular is she lacks an overbearing interest, so episodes featuring her feed off of her personality, which is endearing and entertaining, even if dimwitted.

I didn't name any shows (I'm the first guy). I'm just relieved that Loud House is, first and foremost, just a fun cartoon. It's not exactly a jab at other shows, more just a compliment to Loud House for not going with recent trends and just letting itself be something simple and fun.
Now, I don't mind when cartoons try to have a story, but I also don't feel it's always the best direction. Sometimes, a cartoon's premise is just better suited for episode-length stories, not the series-long plots that the creators might want to write.

If it was a live action sitcom I'd probably hate it. Modern sitcoms like Big Bang Theory suck because they try to do an 'edgy' or 'topical' joke and they fucking suck at it.
But an animated sitcom for kids doesn't need to do that shit. And that makes it more enjoyable all around I think. It's more refreshing to sit down and watch. Plus I have a big family so bonus points from me for that.
I love the newspaper comic look, I like sisters a lot, and I want to see them interact with each other more. Lincoln is alright but just barely, if I was younger I might give him more of a pass. My favorite episodes are the ones where he's the mediator between his sisters.
Some episodes are kinda dry but I do really want more of this show. I like it more than I probably should. Probably because there not that many other family shows I enjoy. I'll take what I can.
