Brock is the OG symbiote guy, Toxin is the strongest symbiote. Sure it sucks, but it's the best of a bad situation. There was no way Pat/Toxin could continue to go on with Agent Venom already doing the whole heroic thing, and people will always want Brock in the picture.

Shouldn't you be blaming Remender then? It's not like Eddie wanted to be bonded with Toxin (at first). Venom since the 90s has wanted to kill every other symbiote that wasn't his, so I might not have liked them being killed off, but at least it was Brock doing it you know?
