I liked the first one, but the second one is just wasted potential. You take a Goblin King Two-Face looking motherfucker and turn him into a super boring version of the prince from Hellboy 2 to create your movie's villain and hype yourself up on "We rest of Nine Realms now" but other then Asgard and the abandoned set of Mordor, its all glossed over.

I'm not sure what /co/ universally likes, but I can tell you I LOATHE Finding Nemo. I don't care how much characterization you put into fish, you're not going to get me to care about fish. Plus it's a bit overrated, though that isn't why I dislike the movie. The shark was the only good thing about the entire film.

I agree here, because the best moments in Civil War were the funny character moments like the ones between Sam and Bucky. Other than that, Civil War and Age of Ultron were both not very compelling in terms of action or plot set-up (tl;dr everything was a rushed blockbuster). The MCU's ability to take itself not-seriously makes it the cool guy in comparison to the self-righteous vibe DC gives off.
In response to OP's original question though: I can't stand DC's animated one-off shows. They seem to just be aping the original source matter they're adapting. There's little and less to hold special about them, aside from the Spectre short and the New Frontier.
