I know it´s just an object, but seeing the star´s light slowly fading and its wings disintegrating still gives me chills.
Don´t you fucking tell me...
>>84117558
Ahh, fuck
But hey lets go a little lighter

I'didn't see this coming in the episode
What is it with DC and killing children?
>>84118167
Its easier than actually writing characters you sympathize with organically. Children are easier.
>>84117601
Very few moments in comics give me that same feeling of electric goosebumps and proto-manly tears as six year old me seeing Superman on the ropes and then hearing the William's Superman sting start to soar.
This is one of them.

Based Marcie bringing everyone back to Earth.
>Marcie
>Marche
Oh shit...
>>84118742
Marche was right.
Book Ivalice was a shit world.
Mewt was a baby and needed to fave reality instead of making up some shitty coping mechanism into everyone else's reality.
My favourite episode of Steven Universe is an early one that deals with Steven's relationship with his mother Rose. Towards the end of the episode, Steven gets into a little monologue about how he's not sure what he's supposed to feel when he thinks of Rose and he implies that usually he doesn't think anything at all. It was pretty good that the story didn't synthesize an emotional relationship between him and his mom when there wouldn't be.
I was not expecting that church bell as Wander's tear dropped.
>>84117558
I had bitch tears watching this scene as a kid.
Also, maaaybe a spoiler if you haven't read Beauty before.
The entire finale of Futurama was a rollercoaster of emotion. The fact that they were able to keep it as good as a regular full episode, while packing in all that nostalgia and love into the final 3-5 minutes was heartbreakingly good.
15 years later and this still hits me.
>>84120867
so what happened at the finale? I don`t mind spoilers
>>84118167
Mexican supes was based
I recently watched it and it´s as sad as I remember it being when I was a child
>>84118167
This was a great short.
>>84121862
>tfw modern DC writers feel that such an idealistic portrayal of a character is no longer relevant and should be dismantled.
>>84117601
God I loved that scene.
Drinks onna house.....
>>84121994
Where's this from?
>>84122048
Hitman by Garth Ennis. Amazing read. Check it out.
>>84121780Lord Hater goes nuclear, saves the last planet from being destroyed by launching Dominator's own drill through her own ship, Wander tries to befriend Dominator seeing her as lonely, Dominator pretty much says "Screw you guys, I'm going home", Lord Hater and Wander continue their shenanigans.

I've been in this situation before. Not as extreme as Scrooge, but when I read this page, it still hit me hard. Fuck assholes in business.
>see Civil War
>expect the usual arrogant but lovable and quipy Tony Stark
>Pepper left him
>indirectly responsible for crippling Rhodey
>finds out the truth about his parents' deaths
>finds out that Cap knew and was keeping it from him
>"I don't care, he killed my mother."
>that fucking petty, sore loser-ish "THAT SHIELD DOESN'T BELONG TO YOU. IT BELONGS TO MY FATHER!" line he throws out because he knows he lost
I don't want to say "feels", but fuck the Russos had it out for him this time around.

Tommy saying that he cant even cry with those damn eyes was even sadder in my opinion, fuck man
>>84125155
Civil War was the first time since Iron Man that I actually sympathised with Tony. He went through a lot of shit in that movie.
>>84121994
Cool...
>>84125465
Tony's downfall has been built up since IM1.
Throughout the entire MCU he has been fucking up over and over and over again while trying to do what he thinks is best.
I remember when AoU came out, /co/ had a fucking hissy fit about the Avengers still being buddy buddy by the end of the movie, but thank Christ Stark hitting rock bottom was left to the Russos, because they fucking nailed it.

>>84126239
I still don't see why this is a bad thing. It just eorks well as a shitpost.
I can't pinpoint one exact moment that struck me, but really whenever Matthew got emotional during the end of Sandman I did as well.
>>84126495
F...fug...
>>84117601
Their relationship has always been sappy.
Truly the most underrated mentor-sidekick bond in comics.
>>84124792

I'm not a huge Muppets fan. But the ending got me. :'(
>>84125409
still hate them killing off Sandman's kid(and a couple other bits that are a bit obviously too tryhard), but yeah Reign is a pretty good comic
>>84125810
it gets a bit too edgy in parts, not to mention the whole scenario doesn't really make much sense since it's implied to have been a normal Marvel Universe at one point, but never even attempted to explain what happened to everyone outside of Spider-Man's little corner
Not /co/, but still technically a cartoon
The entire final episode of Madoka Magica had me in tears. Especially pic related.
>>84126854
personally it just made me depressed and angry
>>84125908
You beat me to it.
Literally just finished the series minutes ago, I swear with season 4 they just tried to make everything as sad as possible, there were hardly happy ending to all the characters.
Nox gets more attention, but this scene always made me sad. Poor Quilby.
>>84118167
>you will never see El Superman in a decent live action movie
>snyderman will never be this good
This left me dead inside for a little while.

I don't remember this from the movie

My eyes they .. can't stop.

Shortly before the events of CW, I'm assuming.

Tony devoted more time to sciencing and avenging than to her.

>All Europeans and Americans that watched the censored dub thinks she's still waiting for him
>>84129711
While that's solid, I still vote the moment Aleksei became the Rhino again as the most gut wrenching. I can't for the life of me recall the issue but it was a three part story where the Rhino ended up going straight and quit being a supervillain...this did not end well for him.
>>84129854
You mean the English dub?
They make it clear she let's the weasel eat her, they just don't include the shot of her being dragged off.
>>84129898
Is that the story were there is other Rhino and he murders the original Rhino's wife?
>>84126854
ep. 10? 11? wherehomgirl says "fuck it let's be witches and wreck shit together" then Madoka touches her soul gemstill chokes me the fuck up, every time.

Yeah. Also it may have only been a two-part story. My memory is a tad hazy as I haven't read it in years.

The whole "I wish I was never born" thing gets thrown around a lot, but when a character actually has a legitimate reason for that kind of self loathing it gets to me. Guardians of the Galaxy caught me off guard that way too with the that RR scene too.

“Nora Fries has been revived from her frozen state and has undergone a vital organ transplant. The transplant operation, funded by the Wayne Tech Corporation, was today declared a resounding success. Mrs. Fries is currently resting in stable condition.”

You're forgetting that they're currently dismantling the dismantling via the use of Dr. Manhattan in Rebirth, and that this >>84117601 was EXTREMELY recent.
