I think the story could have benefitted greatly by cutting down the screen time of the Alpha kids and treating them more like secondary characters. the serial format makes things harder. Kill Six Billion Demons takes reader input and is rad as hell/heaven/a thing with an angel with gender issues can be. Paranatural updates slowly. Worm has a central puzzle underlying powers that resolves very well; Twig is more character-basedand maybe even better. I also really like Evan Dahm's atmospheric wtf thing Rice Boy, though that's done, so Vattu is currently going instead?
