Luke explains to Rey that the Force originates from a massive tree that was found by two siblings, a boy and a girl, who both harnessed its powers. The boy was corrupted by the power, becoming the first Sith, killed the girl and left, but the girl's spirit survived by becoming one with the Force and created the Jedi Order. I feel like they'll definitely keep Kylo evil, and have him evolve over the movies from a whiny bitch into a proper threat. He'll probably come very close to pulling Rey to the Dark Side, but when it's eventually revealed that Finn is force-sensitive, they'll force-bond their way to friendship and giant-exploding-space-fortress times.
I still think it'd have been better to leave Luke unseen, and cut TFA off at the "We have the map, now we can finally search for Luke!" setup for the next movie. Then we could, say, pick up a year later when Finn comes out of his coma, and has to go searching for Rey, who went missing looking for Luke, following the trail she left behind in the galaxy.

That Lego show isn't as bad as I was worried it might be. Not a huge fan of Ninjago or Chima, but this is closer to the Lego Star Wars animations that have gone before it like The Empire Strikes Out. They often treat their world like it's really made out of Lego bricks.
Plus I have to be honest, this version of Vader and the Emperor's relationship is closer to how it really would be after Episode III if whiny emo Anakin had become Vader. He'd just be the guy in the big scary leather outfit who still gets no respect, especially from his boss, and especially not from his boss in front of the other Imperials. The thing about Kylo and Rey and the exploding hut was a leak by a Reddit dude who was never vetted by the mods, though he says he attempted to meet with them and it never worked out. Apparently the proof he gave the mods only proved that his source had insider knowledge of VII, though he claims he also has insider knowledge of VIII.

Maybe that's why midichlorians never bothered me - I had always assumed it was a talent you had to be somewhat born with, because of Leia having small flashes of "force sensitivity" and her whole family apparently sharing that ability.
To me it always seemed like it was something genetic, or at least an in-born trait. I never thought that anyone could become a jedi if they just tried hard enough, it always seemed exclusive and tied to biology.
When I heard the midichlorian thing in Phantom Menace I just went "oh okay so that's what it is" and moved on. I was actually surprised to learn that it upset people so much.
You can tell though that Disney and JJ hated the idea, so I would expect to see more people like Finn and Maz going forward. The in-universe explanation will be that these people have high midichlorian counts, but for the sake of the movies it will be presented as if anybody can awaken it if they have the right mindset. Playing it safe on both sides.

I never saw the big deal. It's not that great of a game and the twist ending was not a shock to me. It always bothered me how the republic was not-rebels and the sith were not-empire. Jedi Outcast and Academy were superior games to me.

I think the KOTOR Era Republic was more similar to the Clone Wars Republic then the GCW Rebellion, but I agree with your opinion on the empire.
There's a lot of good Star Wars games. The KOTOR games just put the emphasis on the story. Outcast/Academy had a great saber combat system, which I wish would come back improved in a newer title.
