Anybody else really love the new texture on Aquaman's tunic? Looks protective while still being comfy as hell.
Also it prevents artist from doing that shit where they need to define every fucking muscle.

The art is putting a damper on my enjoyment of this book, which is really a shame since I think the writing so far has been pretty good and I really want to like it.
Also I'm not 100% behind the way the new artist draws Black Manta either. Honestly it's mostly fine but I need the glowing eyes. They look so damn cool.

Mantas eyes should always be glowing but you notice they get brighter the darker it gets. I can see a comic ending with Manta dragging Aquaman down to the ocean floor and the eyes keep getting brighter and overwhelming
