Well, considering that the Republic moves it's capital in relation to the homeworld of the acting Supreme Chancellor, there really wasn't much point in staying on Coruscant. The Jedi held temples all over the galaxy. But their main one before the end of the Clone War being on Coruscant was likely so that the Jedi council could respond quickly to decisions in the Senate on whether a Jedi was needed to cool down a certain conflict.
But seeing as that's not the case anymore, he really didn't need to hold a presence on Coruscant. Though I'm sure that the long term plan would've been to have all the temples manned in the future when there were enough Jedi.

The only silver lining is that the game didn't sell as well as they hoped. It still sold well though, and sadly they still have no incentive to change anything.
That's part of the problem, though. We knew beforehand that the features would be shit, but we still had people going "I know this isn't going to be as good as BF2 but it looks nice so I'm going to buy it anyway" instead of voting with their dollars like they should've. That is only true is you look at SW as a whole. Not buying the video games won't hurt the movies or the comics, but it can hurt EA's desire to make more SW games. They will either put the license to bed so no one can benefit from it ever again, or they'd get rid of it when their time with it is up. Not buying the games can mean me won't see any new games until the license runs out or Disney forces it off to another company/splits it to different companies.

It's mostly the fact that current marketing is skewing heavily towards the OT, and TFA as a whole was a big nostalgia fest (and we've seen Abrams actively avoiding prequel references with such a pettiness that I'm actually amazed the clone army reference was in there). It's not true and there's definitely still prequel stuff, but it is noticeably de-emphasized. The reasoning for it depends by product though, and in a few cases it makes sense (the movie marketing for example, which was aimed at bringing the OT back into public consciousness and thus it made sense that you saw less prequel stuff), but then you have stuff like Battlefront which had no reason at all not to include any PT/TCW content of any kind.
