I enjoyed supergods, more so the superhero history stuff, but found the autobiographical sections to be interesting as well. It definitely gave me a better understanding of his worldview which helped me understand the messages of his comics more. I was surprised how he admitted that the whole alien abduction thing probably didn't happen. Ultimately, the strength of his "fifth dimensional" way about thinking of art and creative thinking is that it doesn't have to physically exist to be true.
Happy was pretty shitty though.

Even though I wasn't a fan, his run on Batman is considered by many to be the high point in the run of the character (there is an argument for Denny.) All Star Superman is widely considered the best Superman story ever told. People have associated Grant Morrison with quality since he was a Morrissey worshiping faggot making Animal Man.
Needless to say, Morrison is well loved and respected outside of /co/. It's just that people have a knee jerk need to fellate Alan Moore because even though much of his work in the last 2 decades haven't been up to snuff, he has given us some of the best comics ever.

For me it was the fact that I was only familiar with Hush and some bits of Court of Owls (I wasn't much into comics up until recently). Those felt like bombastic popcorn movies, or rather standard thrillers. I understood basically everything about them without even referring to Wikipedia due to Obscure Character No. 6 making an appearance.
Then I started reading Morrison's run and it took me about a week to understand what the fuck was going on. And the more I researched, the more I wanted to learn.
