I haven't read this but I'm about 99% sure Communism is involved.
How is everyone doing today?

Utopian fiction, or socialist literature? Because there's a large breath of distance between the two.
Famous communists like Babeuf, Blanqui, Proudhon, Bakunin, Marx, Kropotkin, and so on and so on never wrote Utopian fiction. They wrote mostly treatises upon philosophy and political economy, and journalism usually dealing with practical engagement to the day to day sufferings of the everyday people, which was what made most working-class Communists Communists to begin with
The real "utopias" arose in insurrection, where people believed that beyond the barricades belonged a better world.

Well, Kropotkin less so.

I don't think they started calling women advocates Feminists until a bit further into the 20th century, and the term itself was only invented in 1895.
An American Suffragette calling someone an 'American Feminist' seems a bit anachronistic.

Hope the comic doesn't overly romanticize the obsession with legalism and seeming 'legitimate', that really was one of the main factors in the commune's downfall. The leadership was afraid of the power they steered.
>>83946059
Fun fact: for all the bitching and moaning about how 'bloody' and 'horrible' the French Revolution was, there were more people killed and executed during the crushing of the commune than during the liberal Revolution.

Noice, got a download?might go re-storytime this on/leftypol/ later this week
And thanks as always Dan!

>Paris Commune deaths: 20 to 30,000
>French Revolution reign of terror: 40,000
Having trouble with your numbers comrade?
>>83946998
>Accepting bourgeois estimates
You give the parasites too much credit, comrade.
>>83947020
Eh, I'd take the estimation of a guy being paid rather than the guy trying to make it sound inspiring.
Thanks for reading guys
