Tim was Robin for 20 years and was perfectly fine in the role, and he could have continued to be Robin for years to come. Fuck, Dick Grayson was Robin for 40+ years!
There was literally no need to replace him. But they did, so we have to deal with that.
Personally, I don't really have a problem with Damian. His introduction lead to great stories and a fantastic death. I just wish DC would show some commitment.
